Very good all this information, I really like learning about Variable Speed Drives, but I'm starting to learn about the management of Emerson Unidrive that possibilities exist to publish this information in Spanish?
Unfortunately, we do not currently have the resources to overdub the videos in different languages. There might be a Emerson Control Techniques manual with information published in Spanish.
GalcoTV thank you for reply , but in open loop (without encoder) i can change in parameter 4:11 just from 0 to 1 , or change from 0 to 4 in close loop . i want to rum torque mode (unlimited speed )in open loop . thanks
Ali Suliman You're right, then you will only be able to change it to a 1 for open loop. This should put you in torque control mode. I would also suggest downloading a manual from CT or from Galco's website. To find it on Galco, check out the links above in the description page and navigate to the docs and links part on the product page. A digital manual can also allow for easier searching by using Ctrl+F to find your selection.
I have an Emerson drive SP 2402, facing an alarm/fault “trip it.AC”. I tried to change the parameter 5.07 (by changing 0.49->L2). The par 5.07 doesn’t allow me to change the stored value that’s 0.00. Please I am seeking for the help. Does anyone know how I can fix the issue..
Ok the SL3.er fault means the drive isn't seeing the module in slot 3, or that module has been changed. Having said that, we have found on older SP drives sometimes these connectors become corroded slightly and may be able to clean enough to restore operation by simply removing and reinserting several times and push red reset/stop button. You must take special care when reinserting module to line up connector correctly so as to not cause more damage to unit. The SL3.Hf fault is a type of hardware fault. If this does not reset with the red reset/stop button or cycle the power, the failure may be terminal.
@@GalcoIndustrial Thank you very much for your soon answer. When you Say terminal un lastre sentencie do you mean fatal failure or connection terminal fail?
+Anouar Chahboun HF 25 = Current Feedback offset error. HF means a hardware fault. You can download the Advanced UserGuide Here: www.galco.com/techdoc/cont/unidrive_sp_aug.pdf
Hi nasreddine ramdani, The drive has a serial communication port that is EIA485 type from an RJ45 connector. This port is isolated from the high voltage in the drive. It supports to different protocols “MODBUS RTU” (default) and “CT ANSI” that are parameter selectable at parameter #11.24 (or zero menu 0.35 is same thing). A 0 = CT ANSI, and a 1 = MODBUS RTU. Let me know if this helps you out.
Hi Galco TV Thank you a lot for your help ! I found that very helpful, and i would know if you have an labview structure of what you just explained to me. That would be a pleasure to work with you !
i have unidrive sp i want to run torque control(unlimited speed) open loop in old unidrive is easy .just select in macro by put 2004 in xx.00 please help me
Sorry for the late response. You should be able to change to toque mode by going to parameter 4.11. From here you can change it to a 1 for torque control or a 2 for torque control with a speed override. I hope this helps.
