As a Brazilian, I can say that Emerson Fittipaldi represented our country very well. It is certainly one of the biggest in the history of motorsport.

An inspiration to all Brazilian people, the man who put Brazil on the map in the Formula 1 world.

Beautiful video, maybe the best of this series, i love Emerson. But let's be honest, his best advice to his younger self would be to not leave McLaren and go to Copersucar at the end of 1975 (at his prime) and basically ruin his F1 career for the next 5 years.

This man is so underrated

People who complain about the Copersucar project should not forget that Emmo gave Adrian Newey it's first job in 1980: the aero of the beautiful F8. In the beginning of 1980, Emmo en Keke started on the last rows of the grid in the F7. At the end of the season, Rosberg qualified the F8 in P6 in Montreal. He drove the F8 from last to P5 in Monza after a burned clutch and challenged Lafitte in Hockenheim for P5 (the latter winner). At the end of 1980, the Fittipaldi team was Peter Warr, Harvey Posthlewaith (WC with Ferrari), Adrian Newey (WC with Williams, McLaren, RedBull), Keke Rosberg (WC with Williams). What if Skol didn't leave the team at the end of 1980? Who knows with Newey and Posthlewaith!
