Goodwood Festival of Speed 2014. Emerson Fittipaldi drives Richard Petty's monstrous Plymouth Belvedere. Listen to that Hemi! This is onboard on the return run down the hill.
I have a friend who owns and drives his 1966 Plymouth Belvedere originally 426 Hemi but it has a 572 2 4's on the streets here in Oklahoma, he uses E85 for fuel. It gets used like it was intended.
Good job with the video. I know that was no small feat filming while holding to the roll bars with an F1 Champion driving one of the King's Hemi cars. Most winningest car in NASCAR history, in fact.
The 1st & 2nd Hemi’s started & I though it was that one then that one started. WOW!! I think I’m going to put that sound on the loud speaker for everyone to hear.
ONE WORD TOTALLY SIXTIES !!!!!! THOSE BIG BLOCK WEDGES WOULD RUN YOU DOWN , RICHARD PETTY WAS THE MASTER OF THE HIGH BANKING ON THE BIG TRACKS , THOSE ENGINES WOULD TALK TO YOU AT HIGH SPEED , LORD I MISS THE GLORY DAYS , A COKE , PEPSI , ORANGE , SODA HAMBURGER AND FRIES AND THE HOT PANTS WOMEN OMG !!!!! I KNOW I'M IN HEAVEN !!!!
Shift Z Channel He loved it, as did all the other drivers that were trusted to drive Richard's car- Michael Waltrip, Bobby Labonte, Kenny Brack & Lord March.
I was sat on the floor in the front with the exhaust burning my butt through the floor panel! Leaning back against the roll cage to try to stay upright.
Dougal McRae for a gentle trot back down the Duke of Richmond’s driveway? Not worth the hassle. At least Emmo had a seat, I was sat on the floor with the exhaust boiling my ass!
@@spence_the_buffet_slayer "And see this burn on my butt?? A Hemi put that there and I'm proud of it !!" Nerves of steel, just hangin' onto that rollbar, son....nice video !! ✌😜
