Not a fan of Buzzword bingo? I mean they could have gotten a guy to say the are going to focus on goal oriented, value added product lines, and support a culture of innovation, and 100% committed to supporting their long term production goals while exceeding customer expectations.
Ummm.... obviously its because war in Ukraine so no hidden secrets there. He even mentions it in the video. I dont think they necessary prepare for war, more like they finally treat defense more serious.
☝🏻this right here is why the United States needs to stop over seas manufacture. I mean it’s not like the United States of America can’t produce quality reloading components.
Same old story. These companies depend on the lowly civilian market to keep them in business (with a higher margin to boot) then when demand shoots up for government contract product the lowly civilian market is kicked to the curb. When contracts slow down again the civilian is supposed to just forgive and forget, start buying again. No thanks.
Love your videos! New to f-class and As I’m learning…I keep saying what would Erik do? I’m having trouble following you in the brass department, I can’t find Lapua 300wsm anywhere.
I can somewhat understand making brass for the Scandanavian countries, since they are so close to the Russian/Ukraine conflict. He also makes mention of US Govt Programs. That does NOT sound like the US military, but more like for the 3 letter agencies who wish to make war on American citizens! Even the Dept of Agriculture has SWAT teams! They bought up tons of ammo several years ago, why are they wanting more? Sound to me like Lapua may be greedy and more willing to sell to an out of control government than to citizens who love LIBERTY! Is profit more valuable to them than FREEDOM? Hope someone can prove me wrong, but that is the vibes I get from this guy. This video is another piece of evidence something big is about to happen!
I totally agree with you, Lapua is another greedy bastard who mistreat law abiding customers and freedom thinkers, pretty much like Heckler & Koch, yet they get millions from the civilian market. Ungrateful companies.
iv heard its just temporary before here in australia lapua brass is like gold, $280 per 100 for 300 WM all lapua brass begins at $190 per 100. Winchester, Alliant, vihtavuori, IMR, hodgdon, norma and accurate arms no longer import powder into this country because of government regulation and transport and cost. Even our own powder manufacturer ADI have stopped production of shot gun pistol and some magnum rifle powder saying it just temporary that was 2019.
For all the big ammo manufacturers of the world; their bread and butter comes from milktary and government contracts because there is not enough civilian demand in their respective countries and this is where the American market comes into play. The manufacturers use their wartime production capabilities for civilian sale cut slowly cut it back when needed.
I would expect every component supplier in EU is in the same boat, either refilling supplies that were shipped to Ukraine or supply to plants to build for Ukraine.
World events is the main reason. He is right. They wanted to make more money of the same product. So you have to minimize the supply and increase the request of the product. Happens with every single product in Europe right now.
@@fra7530 Most of the VV powders are gone. I was able to buy a few can of n550 in 2021 but the rumour is until 2026 wont be avaliable. At one point I will have to try Rs powders and if they work similar I wont buy vv powders again.
@kriszml me and a friend of mine had an half-argument with our gun shop this june, 'cause he tried to sell us a kg of n150 at 120 euros: at least he was only three months early... Btw, 2026??!! Are you kidding me?!
Oh well. I guess if you're trying to please a handful of American shooters versus getting ready for the Russian Bear to come lurching over the horizon, then I suppose the decision isn't that difficult.
Exactly! US Govt Projects sounds more like out of control 3 letter agencies than the military. Notice he carefully chose those words. Maybe the 87,000 new IRS agents are going to be using a lot of ammo?
@@debluetailfly It's out of control. We're about to send another 40 mil to Ukraine, no accountability, no checks or balances, just an open check. For what? All those fuckers that share a line should be worried, not us. They should be pumping in the funds... not us. Trump was right, pay your fair share bitches...... That whole concept was lost 2 years ago. Kick backs ...kick backs.
Well this will be a disaster for furture brass. I'm sure .308 and .223 will be the 1st lost ones. Being the popularity in military use. Not sure how much .338 is used by other military
Eric. You shoulda slipped him a stack of Benjamins……and say….”there’s plenty of extras in there….I just need a few cases”😉😉…….I’ll stop by your hotel to pick em up
Lapua: "You people in the US can't get our brass because we're selling it to other countries. Fuck you. Have a nice day." Comment section: "Well, that makes sense. Thanks for the fucking!"
They need high quality brass for military defense? WHAT? So average soldier with his service semi auto rifle will be shooting competition grade rounds lol.
