They really leave no leaf unturned in this game with sad stories. Dead mother, dead children, spouses cheating, false love, deathbed confessions, child experimentation, exploitation. Man emils story is so incredibly moving and sad. If i had to describe Nier Replicant in 2 words it would be Sad Lad 😂 its such a tragedy of a game and so well written. So moving. I have never felt emotions like it in any other game. Also, that awkward moment when i am the one you yalked about calling you out for not crying 😂 its not a bad thing hope you didnt take it that way, just interesting and good explanation as well 😊 you are putting out so much content between this and elden ring. Your life must be play, edit sleep 😂

You didn’t delete your Automata save file…after replicant I highly recommend doing part 2 of Emil’s side quest in Route C! It’s a beautiful conclusion to his story
The theme of the game makes it easier to relate with the characters. Finding a cure for your sister and saving her it's more relatable than simply destroying the enemy machines. And it makes it so you know what you're doing, i love automata but there were some moments i didn't know the purpose of what i was doing or even what was happening. I haven't played Replicant but decided to watch your vods because I was genuinely curious. And I'm enjoying a lot not only the game but your way of playing, very thoughtful and you are always analyzing what's happening. Seems to me the intended way of enjoying these games.
Not knowing the point of fighting in Automata is kinda intentional, much of the game is set up to provoke existential drama, realising it's a futile cycle of violence, Why we fight? Robots and androids.. sadness.. with their creators gone, they could be friends instead..
Ive often thought that a very understated moment is how Nier deals with Emils grief. Whilst Weiss is audibly shocked, Nier understands that Emil suffered just to help his friends. The hug and then the "can you see my face" is such an important moment, because when you think about it, neither of them truly know that Emil can control his abilities, but Nier trusts him to look at him anyway.
I love how back then you said Emil looked like the robots..... However it's the other way around. For Emil was the robots first person they fought and so they used him as a skeleton for all future robot models
