Lana's my consistent companion during my depression years, it was the Born to die era and I struggle with her music in my ears that's why I love her from the depths of mt aching heart and wounded soul.
Wow. This sounds like a mix between Yayo and Black Beauty, two haunting songs from Paradise and Ultraviolence... Honeymoon is going to bring the world to a halt.
does anyone ever wonder what would've happened if Lana's Computer never got stolen and never had her shit leaked? like Dam she's made over 200 songs. like how? ??
yeah and not to mention that its only made us love her even more! most artists are terrified of leaked unreleased songs because of them not being good, but omg. you just cant even think that with lana
Centro Mexicano de Mediación y Arbitraje "Is This Happiness" is not on the Target Edition , it's on the iTunes Edition , the Target Bonus Track is "Flipside" pls get your informations before you talk .
She is the only artist I know who can make her lyrics, harmony, moods, melody and score reflect the true meaning and essence of the song. She takes me places I've never been before.
This is like a mix of all three albums. The Born To Die is echoed with the bird ambiance sound. Her lyrics really remind me of something from Ultraviolence and the instrumental gives me a vibe of Paradise and her new Honeymoon vibe with the Hawaiian theme going on. I love it!
NotSoTypical and actually if you listen to next song by lykke li - come find me , you can feel the born to die-ness Born to die was not really Lana's style, you can see it if you listen to her old unreleased stuff, also born to die demos sound rather more Lana than the final album cut...
You are so right about this mix of the albums. She really has taste in lot of different music. She even has these unreleased pop songs that are catchy and cute. I love BTD cause it has that hip hop pop influence that she has in some of her unreleased stuff as well as her obsession with sampling. She made the producers sample a lot cause she wanted it to feel like hip hop at the same time as it not being hip hop. Ultraviolence is just amazing and you can here the depth in the lyrics. Honeymoon is gonna be amazing.
@@gigistr8634 wth how did you even come up with this im crying ☠️ actually theres a theory that it was removed bc it sounds similar to her new song sweet, but we don't know
@@lea830 No forreal they are MAKING SHIT UP. They literally said in other comments and in the above that they are "doubling down" on their theory. Like what..... Thats not how things work, words arent suddenly racist just because they sound similar to other words in existence. This is the biggest and most idiotic display of "i misunderstood something, but im gonna double down and make that your problem" ive ever seen
@@Captain_Effy for real and the fact that they took the time to answer the same shit on every comment asking why the song was taken off spotify is even more delusional
@@gigistr8634 what nonsense is that? It's clearly that the song doesn't say that, no even close. Even if there's a similar sound on the words, the lyrics says and intended to communicate something different. Stop making this shit up
Reminds me to a sad summer... being sick and staying all day in bed wanting to die... or wanting a hug... this song was so comforting for me back then. God bless Lana
Lyrics Why you make me work so hard To put on that evening show? When you know that all I want Is to make your money grow? You're like a baby who don't got nowhere to go I feel you eyeing me, you keep it on the low (On the low, on the low) But I can't let you in And I can't keep you out I wait for life to win But it never comes around And I can't hear you call And I can't hear me shout I wait for it to break But it never comes around Don't know me I'm lonely I'm lonely Why you make me take that shit To put on that evening show When you know I don't need it Better than your booze and blow? You're like a baby, don't know better, you don't know You drag me down, you try to keep it on the low But I can't let you in And I can't keep you out I wait for life to win But it never comes around And I can't hear you call And I can't hear me shout I wait for it to break But it never comes around Feel like I'm falling apart Feel like I'm falling apart Feel like I'm falling apart Would you tell me? Would you tell me? Would you tell me? But I can't let you in And I can't keep you out I wait for life to win But it never comes around And I can't hear you call And I can't hear me shout I wait for it to break But it never comes around Don't know me I'm lonely I'm lonely
This comment made me so sad, this song is definitely one of her best. One of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard that is so slept on, wraps up the emotion so perfectly. Lana deserves so much more attention but I don't think the world is ready for that talk.
The intro mesmerizes me to a whole new level. Her voice harmonization with the cello is a new high for lana and thats saying something considering i thought she had already reached the highest point of artistic ability and talent for one person
@@tayllorsatarah Jack made her 2 best albums. Norman and Ocean Blvd. He can stay. Taylor swift is the one that needs to run for the hills away from that man.
This is absolutely beautiful, and I felt shivers running down my spine when I heard the Born To Die bird ambiance in the background... It's no surprise, Lana has an authentic gift.
I noticed that as well! I'm glad that Honeymoon will be slightly more like Born To Die and Paradise instead of Ultraviolence- I love Ultraviolense but Born To Die is still my favorite of hers.
This is beautiful, and once again proves Lana is QUEEN. The "Don't know me/I'm lonely" part really gets to me, it's so honest and vulnerable. And when she sings it the melody and vocals remind me of the "and go crazy" part in Cruel World.
Lana = emotional pop genius. Can I just say that nothing beats Emile & Lana together... I LOVE the production he did on her first album - and this song... Just my 2 cents.
Perfect marriage of BTD and UV. But I'm not going to say I hope Honeymoon sounds like this, because whatever I hope for with Lana, she always surprises me and ends up being even more amazing than I hoped. :)
been on my playlist so long...when I heard sweet I shot up out of my seat and couldnt believe it. Super happy its getting what it deserves but im sad that this will be buried now. its okay, we heard it while we could and hopefully have this to come back to
It's like a morning when you wake up troubled to have passed the night next to the guy that you wanted so much. You don't know where you are in the relationship, if one day you'll see him again. You quit his house and the last thing that you remember is the summer drizzle on the top of his blue violent sky car and that gargantuan feeling of not knowing how love manages your life. You only know that he will hunt you weeks after weeks.
Those instrumentals at the very beginning literally tugged right at my heartstrings and now idek how to feel. Lana’s music be putting you in your feelings and making you feel like you’re in another universe at the same time 😭
I really think Honeymoon is going to be excellent. Se went from pop/hip-hop to Rock and now is going for Jazz. For those ones who didnt know, her album producer is Mark Ronson. His music is excellent, and also produced the Amy Winehouse album: Back to Black. Im so Excited
It's not sure it's going to be Ronson. At one point, she talked about Moroder, but it won't be him, so we don't know. But in fact all of her albums had jazz influences ;)
Oh I didn't hear that. I heard that she wanted some "grunge" inspired music, with huge orchestrations and chorus... It's gonna be awesome. She said the album has been completely recorded recently, so if it can come before august it would be amazing
Yeah she said that in an interview at the moment she was recording big eyes and i can fly. That music desciption fits to these songs. Maybe the album is a mix of both things
Im obsessed I listen to Lana everyday since I found her 3yrs ago and I cant stop, shes just the greatest its a bummer that there arent artist like her. I ♡Lana del Rey!!!
this song.... wow.... a rollercoaster of emotions. i'm so sad i haven't discovered this song before :( it is a masterpiece, god i wish i could see lana working with emile haynie again
This song is so beautiful, and I love how you can relate to every single song from her album, I love her soo much, shes the realist when it comes to writing music, you can escape with taking drugs...just hit p[lay, close eyes, and enjoy the ride.
Here i was just listening to SZA (Z) and I'm like, she got dope production it almost sounds like Lana. Then bam, I checkout the producer and I find Emile Haynie. This guy got mad Talent!
