Heard a version of this song from this trio earlier today on the radio, with no announcement of what it was, or whose, and I had to find that out. Fortunately, KNTU.com now lets one look over the last 7 days of music they've played. It's funny--the last time I raced to find out what the piece of music I'd heard on that station was, it was a few years ago, and was also Ms. Bear that time. In fact, that was when I first learned about this great talent and artist. I'm a big fan!
I found this in an art book. It fits Emily to perfection. “To me real freedom arrives when the artist’s creative instincts can function without limitation and without consciousness of technical means.” G. Peterdi 1959
+Keith Tinkler - well, some of us are still around watching these great videos of Emily and her music. Again I must agree with you, that this is another lovely version of "Indigo". I don't have much of a jazz background, yet this version seems to me to be oddly both mellow and sophisticated at he same time.
in the contrary - it was literally one of the hottest day in German history - at least till heat wave in 2019 - I was toast - the climate in jazz club was like a sauna - therefore Peter Slavov had a ventilator / but after performance a cooling rain in Stutgart
She speaks Brazilian Portuguese.....musically speaking that is........Ah.....just to sit in a bar while slowly sipping caipirinhas half a century ago in São Paulo.
