Emily Blunt is so inspiring. As someone who has a speech impediment, it's amazing to see someone who has or had a stutter overcome obstacles and succeed in your career. Emily Blunt I love you!
i had to check twice if it was emily blunt because she can’t be this goals, beautiful, talented and she stands up for girls without the right to education? but guess what. she is. omg i love her so much
It's amazing how much we take school for granted. All these girls who can't go to school but want nothing more than to do so, and we all complain about how we have to go to school all the time. We're so much luckier then we think we are. (By the way, GO EMILY! Good on her)
i cant even explain how much i love her. she is so sweet, inspiring, talented, and amazing. plus her accent is everything. she is my favourite human being.
I definitely agree with Emily: Malala Yousafzai is an unbelievably inspiring human being...! That speech was great... Congratulations Emily Blunt... :)
Love Emily's accent, the mixture of English and American ... so articulate.. so talented.. so beautiful.. what a combination. With a husband who knows how lucky he is :)
She probably has an outline and she's reading from it. You can see those two plastic squares on a mount at both of her sides, those reflect the teleprompter to her. Presidents and politicians use them at their speeches. Anyway, she's a great improviser and storyteller by the interviews I've seen of her and even if she's reading, it doesn't feel like she is at all.
I think the facts that she gave about child marriage and 130 million women around the world denied the right to an education was obviously memorized or studied but what she said about her daughters and how she truly feels about Malala seemed truly heartfelt. You don't have to remember much when you say what you are truly feeling. At least I believe that from whatever limited experience of I have of public speaking.
Marsha Flores yeah, it's so loud I almost feel like we are hearing the kitchen doing dishes instead of people eating their meal. Either way, it's distracting and annoying.
No. Because the speech is continous from 1 person to another. So who do you want to choose to 'disrespect' by using the utensils to eat. This is really the format. Maybe I should send you an invite.
I love the speeches but the audience was terrible. They don't know when to clap or respond or emote. You can't speak publicly without the crowd giving you something back. And hearing like dishes and plates and eating noises was distracting.
It would be great if the US also banned child marriage without exception & prosecuted child abusers instead of forcing abused children to marry them. At the very least (in all states) emancipate the child so they can escape abusive relationships, access financial & social resources to help them.
Joe Smith they are generally called the presidential speech teleprompter and the science behind them makes it so that we can’t see anything in the audience but the speaker can see a speech reflected by an LCD screen
