The last scene with Emily and Richard is so “Tolerate It” coded. “Lay the table with the fancy shit and watch you tolerate it.”

I like Emily alot. She has her issues but she's classy most of the time. I like that she tries things she's scared and unsure of. She's cool 😎

😳Wow. The framing at 3:47 vs 3:55…warm, close-knit, loving, vibrant family (cuz let’s face it - Christopher is Rory’s father, but Luke is her dad)…versus cold, distant…proper. Yeesh…

Maybe Emily wishes she was like Lorelai when she Lorelai's age and even jealous of Lorelai since she knows Lorelai is doing productive things in her life like opening up her own hotel.

I know it's not about the characters relationship but I love that Kelly actually eats in the scene, as with food most of the time the shuffle food around or are drinking from a clearly empty cup when the show is so based around Lorelei and Rory being obsessed with coffee and food. I know the reason why but it's satisfying to actually see her eat and be able to act so well at the same time.

I love some of the food court and the department store Emily has the meltdown in was the Burbank Mall.

And then it goes. Neither Lorilai or Rory eats much at Luke's except big cup of coffee and pie. Hmmm, Lorilai and Rory live separate from Emily. All three women did not eat their dinner that night. Ha-ha!

I wouldn't mind if a rich relation wanted to buy me a whole bunch of stuff.

How does Lorelei come from such wealth but has none of the refinement? As if she was raised by people of lesser means?

I like Emily way more than Lorelei!

The only thing unrealistic about the food court is the food 3 women appears to be eating. All those fries can feed 5 homeless people. I am not a food waster. It is hard to believe the three women are skinny and can eat so much.
