Whenever Christopher pulls the father card, I keep thinking how Tywin from Game of Thrones said to Joffrey "Any man who must say 'I am the king' is no true king."
i swear i have not been refreshing all day, but the video i was watching (about game of thrones//winds of winter and how GRRM is just baiting us at this point...) was boring and i clicked home AND THERE YOU AREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE jeesh. love it.
I've never noticed it before but I would like to point out that GiGi's high chair is pulled over my Lorelai. Meaning Chris is not even the one feeding her/taking care of her at this lunch. Pathetic. Even though Lorelai initiated it I think Rory still has a right to be mad at Chris. She's asked him to do one thing for her in her entire life and he still can't manage it. She's right, he could have said no. He just thought he could get away with it because Rory wouldn't know. He's like a child.
and he kind of invited the invite telling her he's nearby at the time. that's basically saying "so if you're up for it we could hang out without too many logistical issues".
i absolutely hate it when people who don't have the right say they're proud of someone. and he invited the invite by saying he'll be close by the way so not really a how could i say no scenario. i mean it's fine he doesn't have to say no but the bs he told rory about not being able to say no to the invite he prompted.
The thing here is that Luke is not ok with anything related to Christopher, but giving you probaby are watching the end of the season you alreday know what the deal is.
The poster of the guy with the bird on his head is the book cover of The Confederacy Of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole. Now considered a classic, it wasn't published until 11 years after the author "unalived" himself.
Aww this came out too late and it's my bedtime now(I'm not a child by the way just a student in their final year of hs). But it will be the first thing I watch tomorrow
so much to say but i’ll just pick one and keep it short and sweet - when you talked about the ambush town meeting being them murdering him, my brain immediately went to the man who was killed in broad daylight in front of half the town where nobody would snitch. it’s just like that but instead of being an awful criminal, it’s for jackson’s crime of being annoying.
