I agree KITO, have never liked Jay as a rapper. I know what a cultural icon he was for several generations. But his rapping makes me anxious….I am always waiting for him to drop off the beat…anyone else feel that way, or is it just my ear?

Everybody from Big, Rakim, Wayne Nas, Scarface ,Eminem Jadakiss Kendrick Cole all top tier lyricists have all said Jay is one of the best to do it. I think their opinions hold a little more weight than talentless haters on social media. At minimum Jay has at 3 classic with Reasonable Doubt Blueprint and Black Album and many can argue five. Anybody saying Jay is trash most certainly have only heard his radio hit songs on the radio like Big Pimpin etcetera definitely not a lot of his substantive music. He holds the record for most number one albums from a solo artist of any genre. He holds the record for most multi platinum albums in rap first rapper inducted in the writers Hall of Fame inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. My man said he running with Aftermath Jay ghost wrote one of Dr Dre's biggest hits with Still Dre. Put some respect on that man's name!!!
