The brain can only hold so many memories. That's why it's so easy to forget things, especially when u spend so much time doing something. Can u remember every day at a job, or every person u ever met in a job, or met in life?
@@masstv9052 Truly idiotic to compare forgetting a mundane day at work or school to forgetting about recording a song that won a Grammy and an Oscar. It's incredible that, despite the entire pharmacy he was on, he could still produce music at the highest levels. That is the miracle. Cute novella though. I hope it was cathartic.
@@goofballbiscuits3647he didn’t forget the song that won the Oscar, he forgot his first time recording over the beat. As someone who raps beats for a living, wouldn’t you forget times you’ve said/done certain things? Ik Wayne and Em have a clip where they talk about that exact thing. Truly idiotic, right?
When you are fatigued enough your body decides your memory is not needed to function properly, it quite common in endurance athletes, it can happen an any situation where you push yourself hard enough
That's what his 3AM song is about. Him doing interviews then coming home and seeing them on TV and not remembering doing them. Same thing with this probably
Hard pill to swallow, but Marshall's mind was really open to all kinds of influences, impulses and suggestions back in the day when he was dependent on drugs. It's good to see him sober and in control of his self now.
Eminem and Slim Shady are two separate entities living in the same body, Em does the serious, pump-up songs like Lose Yourself, Til’ I Collapse, and Love The Way You Lie and Slim does the funny diss-track songs like Real Slim Shady, My Name Is, and Without me.
Umm maybe, Imagine the other way around we would love this unknown version but the one we know would be weird to hear because it’s “ it the original” We humans don’t like to change normally
Us ppl who he called old back in the day (like me I was 40 then) we didn't care. Everyone of every age is hooked on Em!! I remember thinking, Em stop talking smack you gonna be this age in the blink of an eye. Well here we are, n I can't say anything because he's still got it, and he's grown into a humble man. But even back in the day I saw him as humble. He didn't care what anyone thought. He was real about who he was, and we saw his heart from day one.
@@JoeSmith-or8nsPay no mind d sir, these young people have no damn respect these days. I'm a woman in my 40's so was also old enough to appreciate growing up on slim shady/eminem's music. Ain't nobody like him. Have a great day sir.🫡✊️💯
@@bettywillbrowse Yes, but he writes 3 different styles. First Slim, the F*cked up man who you break your neck and piss at your face, for looking wrong at him, its his persona to say anything that comes to his mind and mock you. Eminem comes second, the media man, he is the business way of handling things, is the professional way of expressing of his. And finally Marshall, the family man, this one will make you cry without touching and make you question your choices, it's the ruler of the other two. And you don't wanna mess with either of them. Specially Marshall, the man just want respect and personal space.
This is a real thing, happens in sports all the time. When you're in the zone and it comes so naturally and automatically your memory doesn't turn on because it isn't worth remembering lol
It’s funny how clueless some of you people are you know you can just google things right Google’s been around since like 2005 yet people act like it doesn’t exist
Ive neen listening to eminem for 25 years. Hes stil my favorite rapper. Love him. I was listening to the marshall mathers LP this weekend. Brings back so many memories
this isn't a new theory or theory at all. a lot of artists across a lot of genres NOW Publicly CLAIM that something "enters them" on stage and they wouldn't be able to sing or perform at all without this "alter ego" i see one person pointed out Beyonce but she's not the only one. i'd say almost ALL of them have this happen. why? cuz if in the 1% chance the modernized version of "illuminati" existing with lucifer worshipping (satanists worship themself, not satan, Luciferians worship Lucifer) Who was the most beautiful Angel that fell from heaven, 2nd only to the CREATOR, and what was his specialty? MUSIC. he was known for his music. and that's how so many souls are being taken from the dawn of time until the very second. that's why the music industry is so hard to get into and the crossroads pact became a thing, selling your soul, sacrificing a member of your family to prove you're in it for real; so much more.... it's out there, if you know what to look for. and i'm not just talking about covering one ear or making a triangle with hands, i'm talking about a LOT of other symbolisms used in their music videos. hidden lyrics with double, triple entendre - it's darker than you think... as for fight club, edward norton was the Narrator AND Tyler Durden (that's the narrator's name in reality but he doesn't realize it because of his insomnia and DID - dissociative identity disorder, the updated version of MPD = multiple personality disorder) that movie has entire WEBSITES discussing endless rabbit holes about that film itself. some suggest the opening scene is a shot of the narrator's father being bob and bob is already dead in that car they're inspecting for recall. cuz the other analyst says it HAD to be a morbidly obese man cuz 'look at the fat burned into the seat' andthe type of flannel shirt with one of those stickers they wear at support groups to introduce yourself, but its mostly burned away. to saying even MARLA isn't real... due to the fact when brad pitt's "tyler durden" went to pick her up from her apartment (he doesn't know where she lives and she never says) yet he goes straight to her, cuz edward nortons Tyler put the phone down after she said she took a whole script of xanax and if she falls asleep she'll never wake up again. hence the sex scene being all night long. which, fun fact, all of it was done via CGI but the point is, in the hallway you can see the cops run by a mirror but when bradd pitt and marla walk by it, neither of their reflections are shown... just like how brad pitt's version of tyler never shows up on CCTV and such.. there's layers upon layers upon layers in that movie.
Pretty sure that’s a different verse of lose yourself that was never released so he might be talking about the one that’s playing, idk. Title is misleading for sure tho
"he keeps on forgetting what he wrote down" "snap back to reality" "his soul's escaping through this hole that is gaping" "lose yourself in the music" checks out
I saw an interview, recently, I have never seen. He was in Germany, I think, and he started rapping, on the spot. His eyes changed. He went somewhere else. Definitely, his true alter ego, Eminem. I see now why he forgets things about his music. It was different. I wish I could go on a date with Marshall.
Eminem Thank you for being so honest about your life Good also bad it brings out the reality in me p.s. please tell Sir Elton John I've loved him since the 70s your both great Artists 💯🎶💐🥰
Lose your self is a really great song because it has a lot of truth in it and I love you Eminem honey always and forever amen God bless you Laura love you sweetheart happy birthday Eminem ❤😊

Soon as the beat come on you can't help but to go into beast mode.. regardless of what you're doing.. and his lyrics ... Straight 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 just get you to where you need to be. Lose Yourself will forever be the hardest rap & beat
I love how he admits to things. I really like the one he had to be told he was in a music video with someone and it took him a few minutes to remember oh shit that really happened
