When i listened to the cypher for the first time i was like all these guys are pretty good, then i watched a few more recent interviews basically what budden did was turned around and dissed him after getting a great opportunity. 50 didnt do that. Because Royce doesn't get it. It's all about a story, not just words rhyming. Mr. Porter and Em can build up a story in just a couple of bars and that captivates the audience. Royce is just jamming and saying things (like every other rapper out there).
Hell no eminem could wash him on a song if he really tried and he has not alike is him trying. Eminem destroyed him on that. Only thing Royce is better at is rhyme schemes and making better albums (currently)

This era of Eminem is my favourite. Pure shady evil lyrical play grounds. Nearly everyone writes off and forgets relapse but that album and era of work is untouched in terms of pure lyrical finesse. He is having fun, sounds angry without sounding whiny and rhymes over bangers. Fuck the accent arguments, I'm here for the content. Relapse is my favourite. Fight me.
Why do people keep thinking that relapse was a write off? Yes Eminem himself dislikes it, and the subject matter is questionably repetitive, but it was still the best selling rap album of the year, and it won two Grammys, which is still more than even Recovery did. (Not that Grammys mean much to Eminem)
That's actually a really good point. It shows just what level he's on and in my opinion it just proves just how much work he's put in to a craft he absolutely loves.
If Eminem was black everyone would say he's the best ever. But because he's white a lot of people seize to call him the best. Just look at what he's accomplished, his skill is on another level. You don't have to like him to realize this, this man is fucking incredibly talented and has brought something completely different to the table than anyone else.
