@@IanYatich A “trick” in America at least is known as a prostitute and the person paying a prostitute is getting a “trick“ so to speak. When a magician performs an illusion and/or is deceptive it’s also known as a “trick“ and essential he doesn’t f*ck it up. So Em saying that he would “be a horrible magician” because he’d “fck a trick up“ is a double entendre. Finally, most magicians have female assistance. If the illusion (trick) failed on stage Eminem the Magician would blame the female assistant who he’s calling a prostitute -or in this case a trick- and he’d f*ck her up. Get it?
Eminem's flow on these freestyles are nuts. Just says reckless shit but the way he reels it in with the flow and controls it is crazy. It's like perfectly controlled chaos

jealous about Em & Royce relation.. So you were there with them seeing what really happened. we all for Em. but stop talking like a groupie... you don't really know whats happened with Em and Budden... . yall talking like you know the REAAAL TRUTH.... shit..
Outstanding word play. This is one of the best freestyles I’ve ever heard. I mean, he’s always brilliant, but I feel like he was really on fire for this one.
Proverbs 8:17 King James Version 17 I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me. Jesus loves you and calls all of us to repent!!! ! !!! ! !!!
@@abstraqtphilosophy7357 no. those rappers are only ones you are dumb enough to understand but ems bars go over your head so you only hear the rhymes and think hes talking shit.
‘Em can literally switch to just about any type of flow without missing a beat. No wonder why Hip Hop and Rap legends praise this man for his amazing lyrical mastery talents. He is the truth
The sad thing is most people won’t even catch half the shit he’s actually saying, I’ve listened to this at least 7 times and every time I hear something new that I didn’t realize what he said before 😂 The double meanings and metaphors are out of this world. I literally feel like I’m trying to put together a puzzle when I listen to his lyrics, trying to put all of the pieces together it’s just ridiculous. Eminem paints pictures with his music!

And that's exactly what he wanted too, he just wanted to make us laugh for all the haters who use the "lyrical miracle" phrase to mock multi syllables rhyming which Em does a lot
Idk I caught most of them when I was in middle school. Then again I listened to nas, Mos def, MF DOOM, Lupe Fiasco, K Dot Era Kendrick, Aesop rock, Earl at the time
The chills crept up on me 10 seconds after he stopped rapping. That was beyond words. People think about the people of the past, great poets, philosophers, and artists. Plato, Da Vinci, Poe etc… and they act like we don’t have those types of people now. But we do. Eminem is one of those. He is the greatest poet in the modern era. Crude or not, his words are profound, even if they seem silly. They throw our brains for a loop and invoke thoughts that we can’t explain. One of the greatest geniuses ever. I’m definitely being a Stan, but it has to be said. This is SPECIAL. No one else can do this with such grace. No one can make bars so smart and funny sound so good. It’s insanity.
eminem is the rainman of rap, a savant. He's really the only rapper i really look forward to hearing new music from anymore, the golden era of rap ended after YMCMB stopped doing what they were doing about 10 years ago. A smattering of good stuff from then to now but doesnt compare to 93-2012
@@christianolson8543 As far as achievement. Not by a long shot. Em's conquered multiple fields of art. However, as far as technical ability. Mack and Em could definitely go the distance.
@@mmiv37 do you actually think moses, Jesus, and Mohammed are real people ? Different time periods man, and a different culture. Eminem and people like George Carlin, Dave Chappelle are definitely some of the most interesting modern "philisophers" , it just comes through their art form.
@@agny369 both Jesus and Mohammed are real people, Moses is harder because hes far older, but there is zero actual debate among the people who study this that either of those two people actually existed. You think the entire history of the Arab people and the Middle East at large was changed by people who didnt exist? Mohammed literally changed the social structure of the Arab people FOREVER, and as for Jesus Christ, Yeshua Bin Miriam, The Nazarene lived and died and the world has never been the same.
Lol yup 100% n lately I see alot of fuckin dummies say NF is better than him... get fuckin real. Dude wouldn't have a career literally if it wasn't for eminem
It won't happen bruh. It doesn't sell like it used to. The kids these days just want to hear mumble rap about what drugs the rappers are on, getting money, fucking bitches, and flexing. Most of them couldn't even process the depths of this type of lyricism. Complicated rhyme schemes, and metaphors/references that they couldn't begin to understand just offend them. But they'll make that dude that raps in that high-pitched Mickey Mouse voice go viral on every single one of his tracks smfh.
@@Words-of-encouragement.-. - "getting money, fucking bitches, and flexing" - Let's not pretend that, with few exceptions; mainstream rap had been like that for the last 30-odd years..... Can't blame the mumble kids; they're just following the example of the dumb shit that came before them.

"Eminem is the real thing...... I've been following him since his backpack days in the Underground. He is not a "Gimmick"......He is solidified Lyricist & to oppose him isn't even a good publicity stunt cause he will end careers before they begin.Peace,Love & Unity
@@cherokee2356 Have give credit where it is due I've seen Rap evolve since it's birth in the Bronx and Loving the Culture & it's elements I have to in my humble opinion keep it 💯....... Sure we had the Beastie boys,3rd Bass, Vanilla Ice,MilkBone,Everlast, Bubba Sparks etc,etc But they were all gimmicks and while they all put their grain of salt into the History of Rap they were destined to fade away and if I may I will explain....... Corporate America has always tried to counter act everything and in every aspect of things Music, Sports. For example,While Elvis was deemed "The King of Rock and roll" by The media and Corporate America......Chuck Berry was not allowed to play the same venues as Elvis till they saw how it would benefit them.Anyway back to Eminem......... Eminem entered the industry and not only did he proove in his first album that he was very Lyrical but he took away anything that could have been used against him in battle mode by exposing himself, his background & Family and that was "Genius" on his part as an MC......Sure some say he belittle his own mother and he only exposed what another MC would've exposed in a battle.......Sheer Genius.Hip Hop Culture is for everyone who has a passion for it and love him or hate him.........He is the Greatest of All time and I'm not a stan type fanatic I'm a Hip Hop head who knows what it takes to be a skilled MC......Just wish Em would someday meet a MC named Otomatik a collab would put the industry on it's ass.Peace love and unity to all

Additional thought: these off hand freestyles and his old live freestyles are the stuff that hip hop heads need to study when they put Eminem in a category of Top 5 because of the complexity of word play, puns, metaphors that are happening and being executed on the spot. Folks look at his polished albums and don’t really give the credit because they’re studio albums, but you cannot deny the creativity he constantly executed. He really is a Top 5 talent of all time (25+ years in the game too)
@@robertolanzone to be fair nothing is freestyle to Eminem because lyrics rhymes and beats are always playing inside his head. And thats why he is so good. Like the Hulk who is always angry he is always writting stuff in his head.
The thing is, most freestyles aren't really freestyles. This is not only true of Em but of most rapper. Any time there's a BET cypher or a rapper does a freestyle in a radio interview, it's not off the cuff, it's stuff the rapper has already written. That's not to say that they can't freestyle, it's just that in those kinds of environments you want something that sounds free flowing and doing it completely on the fly can make it feel clunky and that's not what you want going out on radio or TV.

Agreed...Em studied the Culture from Young listened to some Golden Era Records and "Craft Artists" and went to work ...folks be waiting for that Controlled Lyrical Chaos..only a few can really take it there like Em ..particularly Live Concert Breath Control ..Organic Freestyle or pre recorded or Pre written Lyrics...Em Ripped this Session..
I don't remember who said it - I think it was some celeb's post on social media somewhere - but, if someone who used to be a friend starts hating on you, they've likely always hated on you on the side. Something like that anyway. Beware of snakes.
I've never bumped Em, but when I listen to this I realize how he can a simple few bars and insert 50 words in between and make it seem like a whole story/punchline.....its ridiculous, hes crazy talented.
People don’t come for Em unless you just want some clout this kid is a lyrical genius and the best in hip hop period and I’m 56 years old and black and grew up on hip hop

Man, Em's word play is just futuristic and something we have never heard before and never will again! This man's mind works so crazy that the shyt he thinks of is not something most would EVER think to put together or think....lol
Yela is listening intently, studying. Budden is internally critiquing. Royce is used to it, but respecting the craft. Joel is vibing hard. Crook is mostly off camera, but he obv has mad respect.

No one thought he wasn't though. Especially back then. He's always gotten his flowers. Some of the later albums were kinda trash, but back in the day, at least through the mid to late 2000's, everyone was calling em one of the greats. Anyone that said otherwise just either didn't listen to him or just know absolutely nothing about anything in life.
@@IDK_what_TO_call_IT_ what's interesting is Andre never made more than a half an album that was fire as a solo and everybody knows that he is one of the greatest. But when people think about, talk about Eminem they say things like a couple of his albums were trash. It's not about how well your album turns out in consideration of if you can rap well or not. Because Jay z don't make his albums by himself and his flow is not up to par with a lot of other rappers but his albums are mostly always good. So you got to think about stuff like that.
I love to watch reactions in the background whenever he freestyles. Joe just shook his head, smiled and walked off at the end like, "I'm done, he killed it"
I had a dude arguing with me once talking about "Em don't have metaphors or nothing he ain't lyrical he just says goofy stuff that rhymes." Em clearly went WAYYYYYY over that dude's head.
