That's 100% what it is. I was posting on RapBasement at the time when Koolo leaked it (he's the dude who leaked I Need A Doctor [which lead them to officially release it .. they didn't think it was worth putting out], that Straight From The Vault EP of songs Em made while in that 5 year drugged out period, that Fly Away joint; etc.), and he mentioned the guy who got it to him said as much - that it was just Em relearning how to put rhyme schemes together. I guess there are a lot more like it, and I really wish we could hear them. Even the other version of Lose Yourself was great and they was a throwaway .. When Em dies I hope we get a flood of his unreleased music.
what are u kidding me ya the old eminem did have his drug riddin lyrics and beats which were pretty insane but now... hes off em and the stuff he is producing now is just insane he is spitting rhymes ten times faster than he ever did and lyrically.. they are just amazing.. he can legit do anything he wants in rap i am a big fan of the slim shady marshall mathers infinite eminem show encore( i have them all on cd) and they and now the stuff he is doing now adays just blew me away completely....
"I got up and ran to the janitors storage booth, kicked the door hinge loose, and ripped out the 4 -inch screws. Grabbed some sharp objects, brooms and foreign tools. 'This is for every time you took my orange juice....'" "Brain Damage" from the Slim Shady LP...... ya.
@DnimSitanimulli if eminem didnt change his style from when he was on drugs and shit you would be the same people saying that he hasnt come out with anything new
@poolpopper i can see where u are coming from, i love the old eminem stuff.. and i also get the screaming thing like in wont back down he just screams the whole time but i just like the stuff from relapse: refill and Recovery the best it just gets me pumped up ya no?
@mmafanification1 Cause its not commercially appropriate. It doesn't have the radio feel, the super cool club beat topped off with the rnb chick singing the chorus.. and yes that includes bruno mars..
EMINEM is not gone is not sshit hes better than ever cos at least hes still alive ,,, imagine if he was with proof biggie pac big l bugz and ect ???? stop hatinggg start appreciating
@GBmatchs101 In all truth, I dont think em is better now than he was before, but he wasnt better back then either. He is a true artist that has adapted to the new envoirment of rap and still kils everyone.
@ExpertMusik canibus, k-rino, kool g rap, vinnie paz, lord lhus, pashionate mc, ill bill, killa sin, black thought, diabolic, big pun, big l, celph titled, sticky fingaz, here you go
@bigbenwallace90 No, he was lucky. He has undeniable skill, I'm not saying he doesn't but he was lucky to get signed to Dre, Dre is Hip-hop royalty and if Em had just been signed to a lesser label I doubt he would have had as much success. Also just because he's a beast doesn't mean he would've got a good deal sooner or later, there's no doubt plenty of beast rappers who don't get signed, Em even said himself if the Slim Shady EP wasn't a success he would quit. So he was lucky... Not hatin' btw
@GBmatchs101 Im a huge eminem fan and in my opinion new Em doesn't even compare to old em. his lyricism, attitude, flow, subject matter, and storytelling were all much better on Slim Shady, Marshall Mathers, The Eminem Show, and even Infinite than on Relapse and Recovery (I love both btw)... but i just dont think there's much in rap that compares to his early albums, especially infinite... its one of a kind. just my personal opinion
@DoubleBassKing1 According to your logic, God was the cause of the earth, and therefore the cause of our existence, thus, God created us. Discussion over. CHRIST FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
@jomax22 I agree he was unstoppable in his early days, the song infinite will blow your hat off and untie your shoelaces with the lyrical content, but I don't like to classify his music in terms of old and new, how about high and sober man compare his hot beat and catchy hook nonsense tracks with his good quality beat and seriously good lyrical content tracks! Slim Shady is a goof, Marshall Mathers is a genious.
People change.. You cant expect eminem to stay the same after 15 years of rapping? he's oviosly going to chnage, he gets older (matures) his rap styles change and his voice changes. hes still eminem hes still the best rapper ever and will continue to be!
@poolpopper ehhh i disagree with kill you and criminal becuase there more threatening but go to sleep and when the music stops yahh they are great for pump up but so is cinderella man bagpipes from bagdad no love and wont back down and if u ask me the best song ever from him is my darling becuase it really shows the two sides of him and what he used to be and now what he has become thats just my opinion tho i have all his cds and appreciate all his music... i just think that they are the best...
