Wayne’s verse was absolutely poetic. Eminem’s verse was ruthless and legendary. What doesn’t get talked about enough in my opinion is the beat they laid down for this masterpiece. Absolute 🔥🔥
This song has gotten me through some rough crap. Its the ultimate F U I WILL succeed. I agree their styles are obviously different. At wheezys peek, pre purple drank, he was killing it. I watched a really deep interview with him about mental health and suicide recently...He realllly intelligent and insightful. You would have never known what he was hiding. But His verse in this song is one of my favorites ever. EM is ruthless no matter. And ill be damned if he isnt still just as amazing at 45.
Used to listen to this song when I was young now I’m 26 and a head chef just finished a long shift get home smoke a cigarette and listen to this absolute legendary tune
@@user-rw7mu9ek9w His first name is Marshall so Marsh and then mellow or mallow. It's just a play on the word. No diss. Just saying he's not tame. Don't mess with him lol
I hate how they are pushing the new agenda so hard. Just fucking give us time to enjoy rap a little bit more. Now you hve the most untalented human beings rapping on the radio talking about either killing black men, doing drugs, or fucking bitches.
@@carlovargas7788 no, goats are those separated from God. Lil Wayne reps the Almighty, he’s chosen to be a sheep; that’s why you don’t hear his voice in this industry anymore.
first of all this is Eminem's track ofcourse he's gonna go harder. but if you don't think wayne killed it too than you dont know much about rap. both went hard. im an eminem fan. my favorite rapper. but the problem with some eminem fans is that they ignorantly fail to realize other rappers greatness, which leads to eminem being called overrated. when theres comments of people with hundreds of likes talking about skipping wayne's verse shows total disrespect.
Neville Cross yes but you gotta understand something, wayne way of rapping is per say way out of his full control like hes driving drunk, em form and ability to say shit right whether simplified or giving it for you to decifer is amazing, he control what he wants you to be thinking in each moment so you gotta understand, lil waynes verse was one of his best of his career but he cant explain what he wants exactly the way he wants to ! eminems verse started simplified, and he zoomed styles mixing it up , and speeding it up, with lyrics that tell you exactly, wayne aint gonna drooble or dribble a drop anymore ! this VERSE to LIL WAYNE IS a DISS ! listen and appreciate ! wayne tried to bring it to em but he was already in a different dimension with his speed , im just saying ! lol
Tupac, Biggie, and Eminem. So what is wrong with you people when Snoop, Wayne, GhostFace, Master P, Bird and Fresh, Rakim, KRS-one, Warren G, Busta Rhymes, aren't even in the picture? Really?
KRS-One, Rakim, Warren G, Prodigy, Fresh and Birdman, Wutang...Red and Meth, DMX, Busta Rhymes, Ghostface, Master P, WAYNE! You wanna talk about Goats? Yes, Tupac, Biggie, Eminem. But you idiots aren't thinking Snoop, LLCoolJ, Young MC, MC Hammer...stop...seriously you don't know the culture of hip hop if you think Bubble Gum Rappers are on your top ten
Open Bibles consistently six seven days a week rehabs false doctors trying to prescribe pills and all that other b******* relapse and open up the bottles and s*** this ain't no f****** skit I'm coming for the dumps like Blue Max was spitting f****** Ex-Lax beep beep beep m*********** let's get it
maybe. could be good for hip hop... If youd have asked me this 3 months ago i would have laughed though. but now.... now i really think it would be a beautiful thing
How come Im hearing this song for the first time in 2024 ? .. RU-vid algorithm was keeping it secret until now ( came from original - what is love ). Legend !
THIS IS LEGIT ONE OF THE BIGGEST CLASSICS OF THE 2010s… has aged beautifully a song I always go back to I feel like Eminem and Wayne collab on this song so well it’s just peak!!!
Wayne’s verse way more meaningful tho Wayne was spitting some real shit he literally stood up to Em without having to scream rap fast or shout his composure was calm af he wasn’t fazed at all by Em Wayne is fucking fearless!
Leen Nawaf yup he did, he was talking about the times when he was so low because of pills and drug addiction, he almost passed away, and yet he got no support back then from a lot of people, including Kanye West, so, yeah...
"get these whack cocksuckers off stage, where the fuck is Kanye when you need him. Snatch the mic from em. Bitch imma let you finish in a minute". He was actually referring to the mtv awards or whatever when he interrupted Taylor Swifts speech.
Lil Wayne with the word play, punchlines, poetry, delivery and all in just one verse...No love will remain one of the biggest hip hop track for life...
I get goosebumps every time Em says "you'll never take my pride" and Wayne is backing the same vocal. Two legendary rappers that set the bar so high nobody been able to reach it yet 💪
@@sanbmore1745 nobody in hip hop can go against Wayne I’m telling you this is coming from someone that knows real hip hop Wayne is not to be played with
I was bored the other day. (chronic life long illnesses) and watched Godzilla over and over....he literally take ONE breath in more than a minute. 37 seconds at the super speed no air. at all. INSANE. I have sung most of my life. Breathing is beat into your brain. He has to have a spare lung. The most famous female belters (demi, christina, carrie, torrie, kelly, and now Gabby Barrett)...their tied longest note held is 22 seconds. Carrie did go longer on a gospel song but Ive never seen the number...but they are only holding a note maybe a run...NOT enunciating perfectly at the speed of light not breathing.
@asa miller this is not a song is a medicine i had the same school life as em like getting hit by someone and im still having trauma thinking about that
All of his last verses are bomb , Bad Guy , No Love , Sing For The Moment , 3 a.m. , Insane and Like Toy Soldiers are all good examples of verses that steal the show
Crazy how I've been listening to Em since I was a teenager and I'm now 38, so I obviously have heard everything he's ever made and I never get tired of hearing the same songs. I realize it's because I catch something new every time. And I didn't realize how massive is catalogue is
can't believe I didn't pick this song up when released, only found it a couple of months ago, it's gold...top of my playlist, 2:42 and Eminem absolutely smashes it !
Now before everyone hates: Lil Wayne's verse is slower but very cleverly done and nicely executed. Eminem's verse is quick, ruthless and fantastically mastered, both lyrically and in flow. Arguably one of his best verses ever as he said himself and definitely my personal favorite. Put the 2 together and you have a fantastic rap duo that no doubt absolutely murdered this track
