It's true to a certain degree - if it's for something tiny as lyrics - yeah. If the person has done some bad stuff, they can definitely be cancelled. Marilyn manson is one recent example
Had to laugh out loud when you brought up Cannibal Corpse. Of course there has to be a limit. Hate speech, for example, isnt okay just because someone is singing the words. I feel that the lines are a bit blurred for Eminem because the lyrics might be mistaken for an actual opinion. He knows that. That's why he wrote "Stan". It's not so much recognizable as a "story" as maybe Hammer smashed face or Zombie ritual would be. Anyway. I enjoyed your take on the issue. Maybe the background music could be tuned down a little? I found it a bit distracting at times.
I mean it happened after he made the slim shady lp bcoz of the song "the real slim shady" and then it happened in the Marshall mathers lp bcoz of the songs criminal, the way i am and stan and basically everytime he released and album
bruh I just never supported his music because as a gay person I dont feel comfortable supporting someone whos using homophobic slurs. I didnt make it too big of a deal. I just didnt like it so I didnt support it
Yeah there’s plenty of artists I don’t listen to or don’t support but I’m never going to go out of my way to make sure nobody else can listen to their music

@@cancerkid1070 isnt youtube oversaturated with rap? I've seen way to many youtubers make rap songs (correct me if im wrong, but i assume that diss tracks are rap). The only one i've enjoyed, which was only due to the meaning of the song, was idubbz disstrack on ajp.
I'm just going to say the same thing I just said under moist Cr1tikal's newest vid:the internet has basically turned into a place where crybabies desperately try to get attention. It's just stupidly ridiculous at this point
