The beauty of this song is that the voice he's arguing with can be interpreted as many things: Slim Shady, the devil, his addiction or the rap game. I personally lean towards the rap game, it fits perfectly. Anyway the story telling is incredible

the beat is supposed to ressembke the noise of a chainsaw turning on, and when it turn on Slim Shady wakes up. Its kinda his thing because he used to appear with a Jason mask and a chainsaw in concerts etc..

I work with my brother who’s 16 years older than me and most the other guys are about 10-12 years older and sometimes they say these names of older rock n roll guys that I never heard of and they give me the same shit we’re giving this kid lol.
