I hate the *BAFTA TV Awards,* the *RTS Awards,* the *TRIC Awards* and the *Broadcast Awards* as they always go against what the public vote for in the few public award shows like the *NTA Awards.* The only public award shows other than the *NTA's* mainly or solely focus on soaps and long running weekly dramas like the *British Soap Awards,* the *Inside Soap Awards,* the *TV Choice Awards,* the *Digital Spy Readers Awards,* and the *I Talk Telly Awards.* Whatever the *public* vote for in the *NTA's* will be the complete opposite of what the *industry people* vote for in the *BAFTA's,* the *RTS Awards,* the *TRIC's* and the *Broadcast Awards.* They also mainly vote for shows which have tiny *viewing figures* which makes the gullible public, especially Americans, think those *low viewer* shows are the *best the UK has to offer,* so they help to increase the ratings of those shows. Those shows have *low viewing figures* for the simple fact that the majority of them are *shit.*

The Mercury prizes are actually good. Michael Kiwunuka won this year for his recent album and its beautiful. And stormy won the year before for his album before and that was also really good.

It makes so much sense of what em said "the win goes to someone u haven't even heard of" I felt that with when I read John collier for album of the year.. I was like who?! Apperantly he has already won 2 grammys in the past making inovative music... like no clue.. grammys dont even know where they stand.
