my friend: Who’s your favorite rapper me: Eminem my friend: Who’s your favorite celebrity me: Eminem my friend: Name someone who’s not named Eminem me: Slim Shady my friend: Who’s that me: Eminem
I can't believe I've never heard this song before today, it's so good! Terribly saddening how underrated this is! Definitely one of my new favorites from him. 👌
I Grew up listening to eminem, i remember when this released it was always in radio, and i was a kid so i only could listen this when it was on radio but i didnt know the name of it. I remember a few years later in 2016 being in youtube and finding this song again, i was so happy and i would listen to this everyday, i cant belive that its been 12 years since it released, still a masterpiece
this sounds like relapse. the flow, the style, the subject matter, dr dre production. if eminem went through with relapse 2 i can tell this definitely would have been on it. it also seems less serious (and more "playful" just like relapse) than other recovery tracks.
Eminem ... I can't ... I don't know where to start and say how amazing this song is! The trombones in the background and a mix of a relaxing rhythm is amazing!
I was thinking, I bet someone commented that this song is underrated... and it was the first comment I read lol. Seen that more than a few times with Em's songs
Todor Velinov just saying the last verse he says you couldn't pick anyone else out of a line up not Amy winehouse why would he say her name I'm not positive but pretty sure he doesn't say that
He is saying Amy Winehouse, and if you're wondering why he says it, "my love got you so blinded you couldn't pick Amy Winehouse out of a line up", look at a few pictures of Amy Winehouse, it's pretty easy to recognize her.
This gives me early 2010's vibes that I can't explain. I know it was released in 2010 but this is the kind of song I'd hear and instantly think early 2010s without knowing.
I feel like the first verse was conceived for Relapse 2, while the rest were done for Recovery, quite an obvious change of tempo and accents between them.
"As soon as you wrote your number on a napkin, I was bound to work a number on your back and throw your spine out of alignment..." I can't get over how good that line is.
That’s how I found this song, also why do they put songs that have swear words in them by rappers who talk about killing and sex and stuff in movies that are for children, I don’t understand it. Aren’t these movies for little kids???
