Em HATES being admired.. But it is impossible not to admire this man. He has fucked up many times, did horrible mistakes, suffered from drug abuse and alcohol abuse, lost his best friend and his uncle,Ronnie, the only man who cared about him when he was young, he was bullied, his mother treated him like shit, his wife cheated on him.. and the list goes on and on. He had an awful life and he was strong enough to move on. He raised 3 girls. He is considered to be one of the biggest artist of all time. His music insipires tons and tons of people out there. He has a foundation. It's just, im so proud of him. When Recovery came out, and I listened to it for the first time, I cried so much. Because he finally showed his real self, because he finally stopped doing things that poisoned him. This man is the strongest man in earth, and I love him way too much. Im so thankful for everything he has done. He is the example that you can be strong and grow up. Thank you Marshall.
Clifford Is life don't act like a kid.Eminem is NOT a god. He is not. He is a human. Of course he LOVES to be admired .Who doesn't wanna see his efforts being recognised? None.Stop bullshitin
@dave mac big l was amazing for his time and is still better than rappers today if only he hadnt been shot along with biggie and pac they'd all be in the same league but em is just something else entirely em, s song infinite is amazing
+Yinabi Tekle I cannot agree more. I tell people its one of my favorite Em albums and they look at me crazy. I just think they don't know how to really feel it. The energy coming across from him on it is on another level.
This is honestly why i love EM The only one who makes music about your true feelings and pain that anyone one can relate to not pussy money weed bullshit
Deky it’s true he has some hidden gems. Evil Twin,Talkin’ 2 Myself,25 To Life,Business,When The Music Stops,Going Through Changes,Legacy,Love You More, etc. Obviously his best songs are songs like Lose Yourself,Till I Collapse,Rap God,and Stan but he has some songs that aren’t well known but are really good. I mean give Evil Twin to many other rap artists in the game right now and that’s easily their best (or at least most lyrical) song. But for Eminem it’s lost in the shuffle. Just shows how great of a career he’s had.
“You’re lying to yourself, you’e slowly dying, you’re denying Your health is declining with your self-esteem, you’re crying out for help” Even after all these years this verse is living rent free in my head
Biggest complaint I've heard is too many pop hooks and honestly the beats on that album ain't up to standard for an EM record. Lyrically though is honestly one of his best.
My favorite Eminem song. To those of us who have ever gone through an addiction, it's even more amazing. We can truly understand and relate to what he's saying. This song speaks to me so profoundly it's almost frightening.
My opinion is that it's shit. If anything I think Em was so fucking off tempo in this that I couldn't even believe it was him when I heard it. I get he was trying to say sorry but could've done better than that.
Man this song seen me thru some tough times.. Very slept on song and album. When an artist can make you feel like you wrote the song personally to tackle your own issues and what you're going thru, thats pure genius and i will always revisit this classic
I love how eminem only disses people when they start it. The fact that he respects Lil Wayne and Kanye enough to say that he thinks he would have his ass handed to him if he dissed him is awesome. Even though we all know Em would destroy them both if that did happen.
He's saying if he went after them all drugged up he would have had his ass handed to him.. Honestly on his worse day without saying a word nether of them could touch him.
I agree that's why EM is the GOD when it comes to this rap Sh##!!! I am thinking he was conjuring theses thoughts between 07-09. I am such a rap nerd . Lol
So many different walks of life this song can apply to. Anyone who has ever struggled , dealth with pain , depression anxiety etc it's such a diverse song as far as the message as a whole. Everyone goes through ups and downs we are only human.
this is the definition of my life. everyone who i consider friends really dont give a shit what happens to me cuz they dont try to know me like i try to them.
yeah ive been finding people who care. ive only met two people in my life who really care. my best friend and my second best friend who i met this year. ive known my best friend for five years now and weve talked pretty much everyday since.
brah we all know Em was probably having writer block or some shit lil wayne is like lil pump but upgrade come on now you he took on benzino ja rule and MGK and he openly admit he can't take on lil wayne yes i think he was being sarcastic on a great day he would have eating WAYNE ALIVE hell i guaranteed you RIGHT 47 year old marshall yes after kamikaze if he was pissed he would absolutely demolished lil wayne hell i hope he goes at gucci mane for his fake ass bitch talk to Em
@terique mcclymont how is this even a debate lol ffs... Em is a lyrical rapper, battle rapper, has destroyed other rappers in disses. 5% of his discography dwarfs the rest out there. Just weird people force these pointless debates. Em is obsessed with Rap, he has been in it for over 3 decades... this is his thing. Sure opinions on subjective shit can be talked about in a way, but there is no reasonable debate that Em isn't the best at this shit.
Honestley when eminem passes away that will be the darkest day for rap, dont get me wrong tupac biggie and all of them are legends but eminem put out so many music,so many people, black white listen to him its insane,i fck with all of oldschool rap but eminem is and forever will be the GOAT and nobody can tell me otherwise, the way rhis man pulls his emotions in this is just insane
Let me just clear something up here alright, Eminem is one of the greatest, if not the greatest songwriter of all times. Just go and listen to his song "Lose Yourself" and pay good attention to the first bit of the song, every single word except for 1 rhymes with something, and I dont know about anybody else here but I've yet to see someone else than Eminem pull that shit off.
@@JustAPokemonCommentingOnVideos Relapse was lyrical masterpiece. The flows, rhyme schemes, and production were unbelievable .People were just turned off by the fucked up serial killer vibe and the rape lyrics. It's a much more palatable album if you approach it like a horror movie.
Marcel a bit, bro? This song not even exist in mainstream's ears... So sad, probably if Kobe had boobs it would be more famous... This track kick the ass to LTWYL!
Em is showing a grown up sense of modesty. If he had invited Kanye and Wayne to a cypher it would have been embarrassing. Kanye knows it, Wayne knows it, and most of all Em knows it. Shady is always playing chess with his opponents. Once again he won.
damn Eminem. We as fan's are all thankful that you pour your soul into your music! I swear life can be a concept I give up on from time to time, but because of amazing music I can get through the struggle knowing that even successful, millionaires face the same obstacles that the working class/ regular people in the world face!
His flow and writing in this song is so powerful to sing along too, you feel a great sense of strength, especially when you can relate to it so much 💯💯👍
I’m struggling with the roughest time of my life and I felt this song way back when it came out but now I’m literally living this song. And I want to say this is a wake up call for anyone who is really trying to see through the fog …
I have been feeling like him for the last months, deepression because my best friends dont even talk to me anymore and we hang out almost every day of the month. I have been getting jealous of their success latley. I tought they were the problem but when i listen to this song i know i have to work with my self and treat them better. Now i am going to find myself and stop living in anger and be myself like i was.
This album and especially this song and not afraid gave me the strength to kick addiction. Going on 10 years clean. I’m glad Eminem is doing what he was born to do.
Djthunder PSN lol he was being sarcastic. there's subliminal beef between him and Wayne any song they are together in they take shots at each other. Drop the world nd forever remix are prime examples
I think he meant he would’ve gotten a ton of criticism for it. Not that he wouldn’t have won the battle or wouldn’t have dissed them better than they could’ve dissed him.
Man this song has truly been there for me thru some shit man. It word for word is something people feel, this dudes a genius. This song pulled me thru some tough times man, when I was all alone man this song helped me thru some major stuff. And a lot of people feel this way Thank you Marshall. You got no idea how much u have helped some people.
still think he subliminally dissed all 3 in forever, dissed wayne in no love, dissed drake in the despicable rap, only person he hasnt had a go at is kayne probably because he is mates with jay
An Le Quy I agree in his state where he was in at that time period, and what weezy and Kanye were putting out, he wouldn't have competed. Now though, anyone who will even try will get destroyed. Em is at that level now that he doesn't even have to put anything out, but if he does it'll be fire.
Every single verse in this song is so relevant to how i feel lately. Thank you Marshall. Even though I’ve loved and listened to this song for ears, somehow it still helps me through something i didn’t think i could get through.
I just do NOT understand how anyone could dislike his music... ESPECIALLY a great & GOLDEN song like this one!!! ABSOLUTELY BAAAAFFLING!!! SMFH RIGHT NOW!!! LIIIIKE, BRUUUUH!!! Lmfaooo. Ridiculous. Straight UP RIDICULOUS!!!!
DisneyStewie +ThaHollow0987 yeah and he was drugged out so he was like why would i even diss them and since he was drugged out he wouldnt have been able to make good songs dissing them esspecially cause they have more famous stars to lyricly back them up plus eminem made music with lill wayne... im pretty sure kanye too not positive tho
Em confessing and accepting his flaws incredibly, being motivational for others...damn that's some sick shit🔥.. Listening to this from years never get tired
SAME very first i ever heard it on the day of release i popped the cd in my jukebox listened to the whole album. This song tbh is one of my fav Em songs
