Glad you let it play, Eminem received criticism for this album but I loved it, it showed a deeper side to him and introspective but his rhyme scheme and flow was awesome as usual
Kinda funny because he's been talking here about high expectations and people roasted this album for being "bad" even though it went multiple times platinum. He actually mentioned this on his next album Kamikaze "You set a mark too high when platinum sales are looked at as a failure" (Greatest - Eminem)
I really hope he hasn't retired in silence. About 4 years since he recorded majority of Music To Be murdered By side A and side B now. I hope that he's planning for a masterpiece of album!
I dont know if anyone wrote this here or not, but those lines at the end 5:58 lead up to the next song called ‘Believe’ and the transition between those 2 songs is just amazing, definitely worth checking it out
I don't care what anyone else said about this song, because to me, this song is perfect! This song is also crazy DEEP and Marshall is just saying (really listen to the lyrics here!) That although yes, him and Beyonce are the best artists in each of their own genres, DON'T think that either of them are gods! Enjoy their music, but don't forget that they are only humans just like you and I. There is only One God, don't idolize other human beings.
I do not understand the criticism that this song received. I still absolutely love it. People moan that Em hasn't matured, and then they moan about wanting the angry Em when he puts out songs like this.
I like Eminem, but the cuss words weaken the song. Worse than that, Beyoncé brought it down. She’s a misstep for me. Hard pass. But he has plenty more to enjoy. God bless and Rap on!
