@@azizsidky9456 let’s not act like Dre didn’t need Em just as. Much as Em needed dre they saved each other .. Dre struck gold with Em cuz the label was bout to drop Dre and he was already pretty much broke
Dre Needed Em, Em Needed Dre. It’s That Simple. Em Is Dr Dre’s Golden Goose. Out of Everyone Ems made Dr Dre The Most Money. But Em has Always Said He Would Do Anything For Dr Dre As He Literally Saved His Life. What Em Raps in I Need A Doctor is 1000000000% True and what Dr Dre Raps in I Need A Doctor is 1000000000% True.
@@RSHjr Your More Than Welcome. People just don’t want to listen or They Just Don’t Understand The Relationship Between Dre and Em. They Both Needed Each Other at that point in Time and They still do. I know Em makes his own beats but if Dre makes a beat and sends it to Em, Em is going to use that beat. The Friendship these two have is So Beautiful
@@riddles4237 I'm good, you came and posted on my comment, remember, lol (I'm not with nor for the online back and forth) I make too much money for that 🤷🏾♂️
Dre didn’t know how much he would need a friend like Em in the future. He really had karma pay him back round because Em brought Dre back from a dark ass place after his son died.
@@home9dog2blue199 Straight off the streets of chaos and no pity The aggravated, makin' these punk motherfuckers hate it (Compton) is the city I'm from Can't never leave the crib without a murder wea-pon Huh, I can't live my life on broke no mo' And most of these fools ain't shit but cutthroats They smile in a nigga face, and for what? They got the game fucked up, and want my thing fucked up I done learned a lot, seen a whole lot The top notch nigga, I'm fiendin' for that spot
Never heard a song I did not like with both of them on the mic… nice to see two adult men leading by example as far as how to be a loyal friends and build each other up, instead of being just another sheep. Nice to see some Wolves again, respect your own pack, because if not, then who the heck will. ❤
Saaaaaame, man, I can remember listening to em's first album and 2001 in middle school sittin the hall w all my buddys before school we broke the headphones so 2 people could listen at a time n just passed the CD players around...good times man, def changed my life.
@@Whyteeford Maybe so, but without Dre production maybe Em would not have been Em, not looking past his pen obviously, but this was just meant to be, also, the fact that a lot of people gave Dre shit for signing the “white boy” makes me think no one would have signed him. We needed this trio, Dre, Em and 50.
Anyone that's a music head already knew Em wrote the entire Forgot about Dre. You can hear his style all thru the song even in Dre's verses he sounds like Em
with some tweaks here and there, but i get this feeling Em skill was so good he could predict what vocals would fit with both guys... Snoop was like, sounds good... I don't like you, but you good... so we cool.. meanwhile Dre is like, "Em stop taking me out of the retirement home", proceeds to work full time for several more years cause Em is on fire and he needs to keep tossing in the coal
@@aoisora1445 Yes em definitely recharged Dre again. Probably made him love music again. Dre was 1-2 years away from being washed up. Em saved his career & company as aftermath was trash before em.
You have to appreciate Dre's ear for talent. If it wasn't for him, who knows if Em would've ever made it? Arguably the greatest rapper of all time might have been completely slept on.
It really wasn’t an ear for talent as much as it was him having a pure soul and not being jealous of Em. I think a person who’s not even into hip hop could hear Eminem of the late 90s and know that was some serious talent
'Forgot About Dre' is a masterpiece!! Em wrote some of the best lyrics I've ever heard Dre spit!! The structure of the rhymes and the rhythms they flow at are just phenomenal. Em did an incredible job with that and it will always be one of my favorite songs Dre has been on in his entire career.
He's not a lyricist, but his delivery is fantastic. And since he brings god tier production capability I really don't mind that he doesn't write his own rhymes, he can provide everything else that a song needs to be a winner. Dre is never dead weight. Best in a unit though.
@senorchinchilla I mean in that sense we've been assaulting humanity for ages. Yes it's pretty fucked up to the artists to use their voices in ways they don't want but it's no different from making fan drawn comics or doing unofficial cover songs. All I'm saying is I'd be more worried about nukes or climate than hearing snoop dogg say "chicka chicka chicka slim shady"
The 2001 album was a testament to one of the greatest collaborations of creative minds in music. And Eminem helped craft that piece of hip hop history while making his own mark at the same time. Oh to be in the lab with them conjuring up that masterpiece.
I met Eminem in September 98, right before he met Dre. I have been a fan of Dr. Dre for decades, and hearing Em's freestyle on the Wake Up Show made me a lifelong fan of his. Beautiful partnership. Keep y'all's ears open... love ya
@@RoboShowgirlsBatmanCop2-v4n I think I read the initial comment wrong. Snoop would NOT have done the song justice. That tempo and cadence just isnt doggfather
@@stephencox8723Funny thing is this criteria would eliminate almost anyone you'd place against him. Most folks have 1-2 Undisputed bangers, while 3-5 are mid with 1 possible return to glory in between.
That day changed the course of MY LIFE TOO DRE!!!!! Em is MY BOY!!! He’s gotten me through hell and back. I quit pills after 14 years and couldn’t have done it without Ems music. For reals!!! No cap!!!
I have so much respect for all these boys. Dre, Eminem, Snoop, fifty.. they're like the good ganstas doing art. Love them and I'm proud to have been alive to see this happening.
Love the brotherhood, 2 great men uplifting each other and showing respect. 50s another one and the 3 of them are the perfect team. True brotherhood, Fantastic to see in this day and age where people are so quick to pull each other apart ❤
Saw this video then a ton of videos popped up with ‘Em songs or whatever. Something I noticed, ‘Em changed not only the rap/hip hop game but also the stigma of “black and white” and even deeper, bus words/rhymes are about humanity! Whether he knew/knows it or not, his music talks about the struggle most (if not all) of us have that we are not vulnerable enough to say out loud!
@@growngrownman5950 which is complete horseshit (or more likely the cut of this making it sound like something it isnt) as eminem would have never given that verse to snoop since it would have sounded stupid coming out of snoops mouth (even the part before the part when eminem literally says SLIM SHADY would have)
I remember when I first went to see Eminem here in Philly at this place called then “The Electric Factory” this was before he became really big and he was just starting out. He did that song, “My Name Is.” In 1999. For which he won a Grammy for best rap solo. I knew he was going to be big one day. 👍🏽
