This man spent the whole season trying to get Rose to turn evil and ended up creating a peaceful queen instead lol. Cid can simultaneously screw up and fix everything at the same time
He doesnt really know he has an organization. He thinks the girls are all roleplaying for fun and that all these evil people he kills or they kill are fancy bandits.
> Be me > Be the eminence in shadow > Stealing a grand piano in broad daylight and bringing it to the underground maze > Gathering and scattering tons of white feathers > Play moonlight sonata No. 14, Op. 27 No. 2, 1st Movement to lure a possessed princess > Healing her and give her a new hope and make her even stronger > Refuse to elaborate > Vanish and leaving a single black feather that land between piano notes of (si) and (do) to representing himself > go home and bragging about it > and then get choked by his sister Chad kagenou
Gotta remember that Cid knows basically nothing about Shadow Garden outside of the Seven Shadows directly. He doesn't even know Rose is 666, nor does he care about her "betrayal". The only thing he's angry about is the fact for the first time in his life, one of his random trains of thought turned out to be wrong; he in fact did NOT understand why Rose killed her father and he ain't used to actually finding out he's wrong lmao
Yeah pretty much haha. Normally he accidentally guesses right. This time he got it totally wrong. And then proceeds to go and try to convince her he was right anyway 😂
@@MisterLongShot_Official nah he was angre no because she killed her dad it was because she was giving up in her dream or at least in the dream he though and that is something that pissed a bit cid if you know it since he never give up his own dream
And as always its not her betrayal that infuriates him but rather, its because his moment to shine and look cool while redeeming her in front of everybody just got ruined.
Nope, Cid thought that rose also had delusional fantasies like him but about becoming a rulers, A tyrant. And she betrayed him and their mutual delusion.
Actually he envisioned her path to kingship is one of conquest and tyranny, which fitted shadow's chuuni ideals, so he was enraged finding out that she had given up on kingship to become someone's bride
@@abcidr5 to be fair Cid aka Shadow doesn't even know the organization he made during his childhood turned into such a powerful 3rd party in the world and so shadow didn't made any strict rules regarding about free speeches and I guess the seven didn't made any restraining rules is because they thought shadow wanted every member to be free and give them free speech to voice out their opinions.
@@abcidr5 indeed shadow's word is absolute but shadow garden is not that authoritarian and alpha is not also a ruthless leader well cid doesn't know much with shadow garden
I expected a much larger reaction packed episode after this aired It certainly felt like the next would have been an immediate follow up. Was flabbergasted when it was Cid just being Cid.😅
Now let me remind you'll He thought that Victoria was one of the Shades because of her prowess and the First Children she killed, he died not knowing she was merely a number (for now)
I don’t read the LN nor the manga but even if Shadow gave her her powers directly in the end the one thing that separates the 7 from the rest is the fact they were all raised by shadow and grew up together with him (maybe that’s the case for some of the named ones as well like Lambda or Victoria since she got her powers from shadow himself and that had to be before Cid joined the academy and they left him ) as well as received the « wisdom of darkness » aka his memories and knowledge of his last life .
@@togucvinw7 Being cured by shadow is also a part. they actually didnt train that hard with Cid. they hail his knowledge as "Shadow wisdom" but he never really told them shit. He gave them 40% (in some cases like the train engine 10%) and let them figure out the rest themselfs. because every one of them is a fricking genius (Deltas genius for example is unbeatable battleprowess and battle sense) they managed. he fought with them to train his own techniques, and they just learned from him being a superior opponent. The numbers can cure possession as well, but its less clean as shadows. If you get cured by shadow, you copme out stronger than with the shades. thats just canon. But she was hella op before she got into his cult. She is natrually just stronger than other numbers that just train from scratch most of the time.
"She was trying to save her mother" Okay, you don't get to be given power, got accepted into a super criminal organization, and then just walk off with just THAT as an excuse. Like she has at least some inside information that might harm Shadow Garden. It's understandable why she should be executed as soon as possible to contain the spread of information. As well as the fact that she uses Shadow's power for her personal gain.
Since it’s a new track that came out this season we won’t know until the Season 2 soundtrack is officially available for purchase. Fortunately it was announced that the full soundtrack will be available on December 26th so in less than a week. Eventually you’ll start seeing people posting them on RU-vid so be on the lookout. This is also one of my favorite OSTs too so I can’t wait 😁😁
Not going to lie, as much as I enjoy the show, I genuinely find his schtick insufferable. Yea, its the whole point, him being obsessed over the antihero, and that he lives to be that guy. But it makes the background characters actually interesting and enjoyable, while he is dull and simple. Maybe thats the whole point, and i can applaud how good the show can be. I just think he is insufferable.
He is insufferable. He is straight up a crazy chunni. The death that lead to him being born as Cid came about because he he gave himself a concussion doing some masochistic training and wandered into a road where he promptly got isekai by truck-kun. If that doesn't tell you how insane and self-centered he is then nothing will
Later when Rose passes out seeing Queen he mentions that he should punish her for betrayal but its not understandable where he got the info that Rose is 666. Plot has some holes.
@@ChromedioxidVS betrayal of her "Convictions"...that he basically thrusted upon her. He doesn't care about the numbers given as he didn't create them and even if he did care, probably wouldn't remember. Outside of Rose, Victoria, and the named numbers, he's never actually addressed anyone.
