Hooray!!!! At last Emirates have done something with the horrible arm rests on Business Class seats, they have worked out an arm rest nearly level with a passengers shoulder is not a good idea. Now I just have to hope the 777 flights from to Saigon have the new correctly aligned arm rests by next year when I make my trip to UK.
I travelled to Maldives in the same flight as yours but in 2021 and it was fantastic. The views on landing are lovely. Luckly it was a clear and sunny day and we almost could count the islands bellow 😅
Good to go flying with you again and no, I have not been to Male but it is on my bucket list! 8 glasses of champagne before taking to the skies, wow, I don't know if I would remember even getting on the plane much less the takeoff and landing..ha!!! The amount of food available in the lounges is unreal and then to have a grocery store in the airport. I wonder what Emirates food bill is each year! @@GenkisTravels makes sense. But be careful with heavy drinking before your flight though. Alcohol will enter your bloodstream faster at higher altitudes and can mess you up quickly, especially if you are not used to drinking that much.
It would depend on what time zone you were in and for those who work night shifts what body clock your in. Now I've worked to 11 pm travelled to the airport and boarded at 3 am but my body clock tells me it's 3pm. Emirates only give travel packs for overnight flights, but I pointed out the day time flight was a night flight for me. I also mentioned that flight crews also work these shifts, so management should know. I received a carrier bag full of goodies.

When you first entered the Business Class area and panned the lounge, i thought i was looking at a furniture store...not good placement of the chairs, etc........and fill you up with enough champagne and they are bound to get a great review!!!..............✈✈
The lounge quality does depend on onward bound destination and mode of boarding, if by bus and stairs it the old lounge. This can get pretty full at times and food is grabbed right off the tray. The last couple of times I've changed flights the incoming flight was late, so it's a race to the next gate luckily I have wheelchair service and they have two pushers standing by.
