I don't know where you get your information, but the graduation is the first wednesday 6-month to date from your DOJ. You start flying when your training is over which is about 7 weeks plus 1 week induction.

Yep. I was on a flight from KDFW to OMDB ( Dallas/Ft. Worth -> Dubai) on Emirates and I'm pretty sure I saw an American attendant.
