When you listen to Emma you understand why she won. She put no pressure on herself and just went out to have fun and injoy her chance because she understands how lucky she is to be doing something she loves.
Emma, the entire world loves you. You are now the "New Normal" in tennis and whatever your future is you will always be an inspiring star for every young player.
@@watchman316ly that's what LFsaid she's ready. She was loving everything those ESPN told her and loving all the attention In the end her and her team ended up with dissapointment.
@@josephinerabago2807 I heard Roger Federer said that what kept him on top of his game was to stay away from the media and all the hype with anticipation on him. Back then that was doable but maybe now- it is almost impossible.
If ever i wanted someone to win a major title it was emma in this us-open, smiling and just loving every moment of her time there was the secret i think to her winning and she treated it all like it was so much fun.
emma is just so sweet and cool...just love her and she is so respective of others and humble...her parents did a fantastic job in her upbringing and keeping her education as a priority as well as supporting her in her tennis career...i just think she is so inspirational to all generations and is a brilliant role model.
You’re going to laugh when I say this, but one nice thing about Emma, in addition to all the others, is she doesn’t pepper her conversations with so many “you knows “ like we Americans do.
@@robertpearce5553 Hi Robbie, yeah he 'deffo' has potential, but i'm biased Bro, i'd love to see him in a Brit car, (McLaren). Did you see Pogacar (SLO) still leads the Giro by 2.3 minutes, Geraint/Ineos are 3rd !!
@@robertmartin7594 yeah Pogacar is an animal and I'm happy to see Geraint the Welshman doing well I'm a big Froomie fan but the year Thomas won the Tour he was just stronger than Froomie hope Cris will be in Le Tour
@@robertpearce5553 Cyclists are a different breed, no need for WCs' or 'qualies'. Love watching Le Tour, scenery is beautiful. BTW, you might not only suffer a President going to gail but also a golfer ??
@@coolyoutuber6237 I have, and I can assure you they don't look like her! She looks a typical Eurasian, although more bronze/tan due to her being a tennis player and being exposed to the sun constantly. If anything, she looks more Latino in quite a few shots, especially the one of her at the Met Gala.
@@eyeofthetiger6002 Assure? Lol. Man you clearly have never been to India or understand it's history. We are the oldest civilization on earth and made up of many races and cultures of much variety. . There's no such thing as a typical Indian. You've probably only seen a few Tamils or Deli wellies and assume all Indians look like that! It's like saying I met an American who was Irish and assuming all Americans are Irish lol!
EXACTLY : WHEN I HAVE SEEN HER SURNAME I KNEW IT STRAIGHT AWAY SHE COULDN'T BE ENGLISH OR SIMILAR STAFF . THEY WILL NEVER LEARN A SECOND LANGUAGE . THERE ARE IGNORANTS AS SHEEPS 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Sad little racist, she has been brought up and trained in the UK and represents Britain, she popped out in Canada and was there for 2 years, and, its all about who you represent and where you were brought up and trained. Go and hate somewhere else saddo bigot.
The thing is, her links with China, Romania and particularly Canada were entirely accidental. What formed her as a tennis player was England, and in particular the LTA. England is also the country that is the only home she's known, the country where she had access to free education and free healthcare. She's as English as she wants to be, and that seems to be 100% - even if she does cherish her family origins.
Emma seems more focused, agree it’ll be a while before she wins a slam again but she’s got time on her side and with home crowd on her side at SW19 and growing confidence I see her winning Wimbledon
Ostapenko is all-or-nothing, and usually nothing, with questionable mental attitude. They are nothing alike. It's harder in general for players on the women's side to dominate grand slams partly due to best-of-3 matches. Serena was an outlier in recent years, but she was just hitting bigger than anyone else for so long. Now it is far more even. We can't and shoudn't really even begin to judge on one Grand Slam. But people are excited for Emma because of how she was able to mentally block out so much pressure. This is a huge advantage to her if she can maintain it as she gets older.
