This film is so incredible that I can't even begin to explain. It is absolutely nothing like Favourite or Poor Things. I would describe it as a culmination of all his earlier films and it is so dark, hilarious, and bonkers. Please, go catch it the theater, I beg of you 🙏I am DYING for a rewatch 😭

@@antoinepetrov I would personally say it’s more like Sacred Deer and Dogtooth with Lobster elements sprinkled about. Stylistically it is a lot like Sacred Deer and even Nimic, his 2019 short film.

this is his first collab with Efthymis Fillipou since TKOASD, so that partially explains the change in tone and style back to his pre-Favourite movies

i couldnt wait till the credits roll. it was torture. worst movie from Lanthinos so far. If you have to uncover and analize every scene it gets exhausting very fast. i get it- its something for the brain like a riddle. but just n ot the sort of movie you can enjoy after a hard day. very depressive too. missed the dark humor the favourite or the lobbster had. didn't find this funny at all. just disturbing.
