Christopher Hayes As an Australian yourself, don't you mean thongs? Haha, sorry I'm American and learning that word meant 'flip flops' for you guys was amusing.
Have you noticed how the famous "British" actors and actresses are usually "posh English" ? I'm sure Americans who've never been to the UK must think we're all like that, when really, 95% of us aren't. Scots aren't, Welsh aren't, Northern Irish, Mancs, Brummies, Geordies, Scousers, etc.etc. all aren't posh like this. It's a bit like Brits thinking all Americans ride a horse and talk like cowboys.
+pOLLYmath Yo I'm uruguayan too! And yeah a lot of people here has that stereotype, but not me, the difference is that I've seen a chav, most of them haven't XD
she came back for the promotion of "noah" she really hasnt had any big movies besides HP, Perks, Noah thats why she hasnt been in alot of talkshows, hopefully beauty and the beast will hit big
hana tutorial it’s the London accent. Go to London and you’ll see how many people sound the same. I’m from Chelsea. I have her accent. But I’m a bloke.
In London there are so many accents, there are accents like Emma’s where it is typically more formal sounding and then only a few Minutes away you get accents that are very informal and are full of slang words and don’t finish words off properly etc
Aren't they called slides or something? The Nike ones- smh lol. I know a lot of girls like and wear them too but I just do not understand how they made their way into everyday fashion
"except she's a feminist" wow so a woman being proud of her gender and promoting the equal rights of women and men is a deal breaker for you? i feel bad for any girl that gets into a relationship with you
I don't know how to explain it, they're some sort of shoes that you most alike would wear for summer/pool times. Google the word and search for images and then you'll fin out
I've lived in England and America and I can say she's got it on point. British men are VERY reserved. It'll take months before you even have the faintest idea about their attraction to you, but at least you know that they make the effort to think things through thoroughly before commitments get made. American men are open with their emotions and they lay how they feel on the table almost immediately, which is awesome, but their brashness can come across uncouth sometimes.
Alan West Bears no correlation? I have just as much experience with you in this regard, I spent 8 years there and the rest in the UK. My stories and experiences are just as valid as yours. And of COURSE it's stereotyping, you pillock, that's the whole point.
Alan West 'Most American college kids came off pretty immature.' 'No American bloke would ever have the balls to do that.' 'Getting girls in America was easy.' Because generalizing is below you. Of course.
what i love about emma watson is that she's not only beautiful, she has an amazing personality. i literally could listen to her forever, she's so entertaining
I wish the England football team would meet 11 Brazilian guys and teach them how to play football properly. My Father watched Brazil in the World Cup, 1970 and said _"That is the greatest football team ever."_
29AndreG Jane Austen writes a lot of novels about rich, posh, middle-class English girls/families from the 16th-19th century. If you've heard of the book Pride and Prejudice or watched the movie, the girls are basically Emma Watson. Except obviously she doesn't have the fancy outfit. Kind of an exaggeration, though
On behalf of all Southerners (myself included (Louisiana)), we are actually quite educated and cultured. Secondly, I don't appreciate the way she generalized American guys. I still like her and all but that was a little rude :(
This should be annotated "English and American boys EMMA WATSON has met". There are plenty of both English and American guys that act both ways, it's wrong to generalize.
WE KNOW IT'S WRONG TO GENERALIZE!!! But it helps. Of course there's both types in each country, but for the most part, stereotypes are true, just not for every single person!!! Not every black person loves fried chicken, not every American is circumcised, not every Muslim is super religious! But for the most part these things are true, just not of every single one of them!!! I think everyone gets that!
Some people from my school have recently gone to Washington on a trip and they get followed around museums and stuff. Some of them were standing in a group and then a bunch of girls came up to them and were hugging them and telling them that they were hot and had amazing accents but we all have really Yorkshire accents xD
I love her accent and I am British however my accent is a Yorkshire accent as opposed to her RP queen-like accent >___< so whilst she sounds uber educated, I just sound very Northern, dull, bitter and ill-mannered, which I'd like to stress that I am not :( obviously there is also a mixture of accents within Yorkshire too so idk.. I still wish I had an accent like her's
My dad's from Dorset and my mum is from Kent. Then take into account some of my grandparents being Irish and you get a weird mash-up of accents that is my own!
It's really interesting. Visually, I agree with Emma's impression. English guys tend to dress better. However, for the brief time I was at school in England, I think I saw more girls get hit on/was hit on more than I ever was at school in the US. My impression was that the English guys were actually a lot more bold and forward. :0 Curious.
I can't believe what change in her. She fills the room with wit and great intelligence. She is different than her child character of Hermione. Truly, a great star!
@@jonahklockenstink8996 She is talking about Brown university which is one of the most expensive universities in America so she wasn’t talking about the average American either. The elite.
Emma Watson is my idol! she is so amazing! if I even caught a glimpse of her I would probably fall down wheezing! I am 9, and apparently she started her career at about 10, and I would basically give ANYTHING to be like her! she is no nice and kind and pretty! I actually started wheezing when I saw her in this video! she is so good!
i went on a school trip to Thailand one time, and the instructors at our education center were all british guys. and one instructor, whether he was explaining the rules to us or giving advice or just anything like that, he would sort of pop some mean but hilarious jokes in there and i found that so shocking because his accent and his appearance and his actions all seemed so simple and like 'age appropriate' (idk how to describe it) and so when he made these mean kind of jokes i was surprised but also really entertained. he kind of flirted with us i must admit but it was the indirect kind of mean flirting that i like because i dont like straight forward, romantic type of flirting i like the indirectness of it all. when it's too straight forward i get scared off lmao.
Everyone's comparing different cultures and stuff and I'm here wondering what's the temperature in the studio for Ellen to wear one full-sleeved shirt and a sweater while Emma's just in half a shirt.
I actually think she looks lovely in her outfit and very beautiful. I find nothing wrong with what she is wearing. It's not vulgar or like she's exposing herself. She's always been very fashionable and true to herself. Her personality and the way she carries herself has proven be role model worthy and I think she is living up to that. :)
I'm American and I would love to hear what an American accent sounds like to a British person. It's weird thinking of all the different cultures in the world and how each one is perceived by the other ones.
yeah I'm British and the boys are quite mean when it comes to liking a girl. that's why its hard to tell if someone likes you. mostly if a guy is mean to a girl it means they like them.
I just find it amazing how many debates that were created just because of one girl's opinion on men from different countries. Guys relax, its an opinion not a fact. Stop attacking each other.
Because "attraction" is more revolved around being ATTRACTED to someone for their attributes, not necessarily just their looks. People find her attractive because she's energetic, interesting, a bit talkitive, and her acting always keeps her intriguing. If you sat in a room with megan fox for 5 minutes and had a conversation about whatever, she'd probably shape out to be a lot less attractive after knowing her deeper than her skin.
😂😂... “but they were flip flops, I don’t know if I like that...”. I like both, English and American people, but what Emma experienced in America is so true. English people are more conservative.
Emma is just so giddy & so beautiful & totally down to Earth! What guy on Earth would ignore her of she liked them!! Not me! I’d give her my attention 25/8!!!!
I love Brtisih guys so much, prefer them over American men, in fact I prefer a European over an American. I never dated a british guy, but if I had a chance I would, I love them. they are more honest, sexy, smart, and their accent melts me so much. any british out there interested in dating this latina woman?
Nancy Spungen I'm a British guy, and there are bad and nice people everywhere. Yes there are those stereotypical handsome British guys etc. But if you delved into the whole of the UK. You would see people called "Chavs" which completely destroys what you say. I really do hate a lot of people over here and where I live is almost full of idiots! I feel like a minority. Latino women are beautiful, you wouldn't have any problem getting a guy here. Tanned girls get taken quick here, as do pale girls, but i see a larger quantity of men liking Latino girls! As for accents there are many, i presume you are talking about the Queen's accent. Yes many people have that accent, and different variations of it. But some accents over here i absolutely hate. There are too many and i'm sure you wouldn't like all of them. The south of England is your best bet to find someone with that accent!
