Nah. Tagoe fought a good fight. He just knows he couldn’t stand and trade with Ryan cause he’s too powerful. As much as I like Ryan. He ain’t ready for the top guys at 135.
As a Nigerian I was rooting for you brother. But you disappointed me man you were only fighting to survive we as Africans don't fight like that I wish I showed more effort before I believe u could have won if u took more risks.
Well apparently Africans do fight like that, not the first black boxer to get completely overwhelmed, it's normal, it happens sometimes. I mean for them it's hard because they're being dominated by stronger force. It's like a 10 year old kid getting into a fight with a 18 year old, they're completely overwhelmed, dominated just like how Garcia did to Tagoe, made him look like a 10 year old boy afraid to fight his challenger after class 🤣
I think it was clear that Tagoe was telling the truth sbout how he never watched, looked at, or studied ryan garcia. Bc he clearly went in that fight not knowing what he was dealing with. Tagoe didn't even have a strategy or anything. But those 2 things were two big mistakes.
@@MrSbtheprez I mean who sent you!¿¿¿...if he didn't "die" at 135 with bigger and stronger opposition 😅🤣what makes u think he will die at 130? Get out of here!
@@watsonville8312 gtfoh bigger stronger opponents? Man if you dont take your Weak Ghana pepper ass out of here! that man is a bum! FACTZ! Nobody will watch him! its because Ryan gave him a payday to help his village! nobody knew this Bum exist! Stick to soccer
Anybody can run tagoe try to be Mayweather but he ain't Mayweather Mayweather get wins in not afraid to throw hit in defend tagoe was afraid wen he got wack he back up all the fight just like julio cesar Jr did with canelo
How did he came for check when he went full 12 round, if you said he fought to survive that will make sense, you just a new guy in boxing, people who come for checks take a dive and never get up, he was hit with hard shot but he was still there, I am from Ghana I knew there will no way Tahoe will beat Ryan, infact I predicted k.o for Ryan.
He’s probably embarrassed because he was rated very high In Africa for so long. I think he knows it was all a façade deep down hence why he always ducked American fighters and anyone within the top 5, Yet he was a former champion… He was praised LOCALLY for so long and I think deep down he always knew. Dude stood no chance, He’s a man of many things but nothing he’s GREAT at. Thats why he said he would retire if he lost because i think he knew what it was. He probably feels a bit exposed. He shouldn’t have taken the fight tbh If you fooled your fans for so long Might as well Go out on top tbh He was young! Money not always worth more than ya legacy thats why he was desperately trying not to get knocked out and always why he Overreacted when he got knocked down the first time, He didn’t want to get fully exposed. Pride is all. This was just a retirement check
@@zackxmagz6343 Damn, If that's true thats even worst bruh lol I had watched most of his fights a fews ago and I was HIGHLY unimpressed considering he was a former champion so i'm not surprised
What you wrote was very deep and I can actually see that at the truth. He did over react with the knock down. Looked pouty like a child who was embarrassed. Kinda weird to see. He was really trying not to get ko’d. Defense was good with the movements but I knew his record wasn’t good. Saw his fights and I thought to myself Ryan is going to catch him since he drops his hand when he throws. Mainly fighting in Africa no American fighters or Russian, Ukraine, ect. I’m sure his country looked at him a certain way and he wanted to stay in the hood look for them. Good break down man

I am more disappointed in your Management and Promotors putting you in a fight like that as your first fight in America. Because you were not ready for those bright lights you skill but you lack the confidence needed to beat the top guys. Talking a good game will sell fights but you need more than that to make it and become a champion or a top fighter. please learn from this and understand that Africa will support you but please try harder next time and don't just show up for a paycheck because that's what it looked like.
Tagoe Deserves no respect. He continuously Clinched the fight and ran around. Disgusting. Im not even a Ryan Fan either. He Kept smiling in the first rounds like he had it in the bag, but was a terrible opponent for Ryan, not to mention Ryan underperformed against a Nobody smh…
@@Alexchieffs Was hugely disadvantaged in weight. Don't forget, it was supposed to be 135. Tagoe saved the night by agreeing to meet Ryan at 139. First time he had fought at that weight. No excuse though! But, I think Tagoe deserved some credit.
