Tagoe's really slick. This fight was 8 years ago and he's only gotten better since then. It'll be interesting to see how Ryan responds to a defensively sound fighter who can box well on the backfoot
@@szymac90 Now that's a decent prediction. I got Ryan by points or KO after the 9th round. Tagoe may be unknown but he is still decently skilled, he is a slick boxer who isn't prone to being knocked out early or at all. If it were a brawler type boxer I could see it like Duno or a guy like Pitbull Cruz. Tagoe's style just doesn't lend itself to early stoppages.
Thanks for posting, never heard of him before. Should be easy for Ryan, even coming back from layoff and surgery. He doubles his jab ok sometimes, though brings it back low. King Ry by KO.... JMHO.
@@KT-dy4on Doesn't really matter if you get hit in the right spot, I say Ryan would beat the shit out of Haney, Luke Campbell hits harder than him too.
@@KT-dy4on Jojo wouldn't even reach Ryan with his short arms, the guy was small at 130lb, he's solid but he can't punch that hard, and you can tell he don't train that hard either, at this point Jojo career is over. Remember Luke Campbell had never been knocked out before, and he was an Olympian. Linares did beat campbell too I believe, but you can't really compare matchups, I say Ryan knocks Linares out too. Maybe Devon beats Ryan if he can avoid getting hit, but I doubt he can.
@@KT-dy4on Fair enough, I am not totally sold on him either, biggest thing for me is him not improving his defence and still dropping his hand. I guess we will know more if this next fight happens.
i heard about this guy from watching 'vice'.after watching this fight i see that tagoe has got a lot to learn. he makes a lot of mistakes that an experienced fighter would take advantage of.he leaves his fists out there to long,he needs to tighten his combo's up and he needs a lot of improvement with foot work but, good god has he got a punch.he looks to be one of the strongest light weights i have ever seen....how come this only shows one round? i would have liked to have seen the whole fight.
I thought this guy would be trash because Ryan Garcia picked him, but his defence is pretty good, these punches ain't it tho, hope he got better by now.
I have very little faith in this man winning. I skimmed through a ton of his fights and quickly realized he has a lack of defense and all his opponents seem to have very little control of themselves which is not the case with Garcia. He’s not particularly powerful or methodical in his offense ever. He seems fast but his opponents are usually slow so it’s hard to tell. Very exploitable boxer. Might be a big reason Garcia took the fight.
@@bryanwithay1978 I don’t get your point. Neither Floyd or Canelo were in their prime. You said this was 8 years ago my point was 8 years ago Tagoe should’ve been in his prime.
You obviously don't know jack, this guy is good, not extremely powerful but has a good technique, excellent jab and combo's. Hes like 31-1, if Ryan isn't careful he will get outboxed by him. This is a challenging fight after a lay off. And Ryan is only 24 years old, he needs these fights to climb the ladder.
So Ryan comes back only to fight a Bum? i'm gutted !! where's pretty boy Floyd who always came back to fight one of the best fighters out there to demonstrate he still on the throne👑
Too slow lead hand too low. The hand picked this dude for a Ryan highlight, that head is a open target once he throws that straight left Ryan’s over the top BANG!
Ryan ducked put bull. Ryan lied and said pit bull declined the offer. Pit bull stated there was never any talking about them two fighting. Ryan lied. Pitbull would have been too challenging for Ryan. Ryan wants either easy fights or he wants to go straight to the top without fighting his way up (in case he loses).
