At fifteen years old I came home from school and found my mom dead. The coldness of a persons body after lying there for awhile is sickening. And the feeling of fear, then grief, then numbness is something that cannot be explained in words. This brought me to tears and I feel so sorry for this woman even though she doesn’t exist.
I remember being so shocked by this death. I never saw it coming. Recently I have started to read soap spoilers and it's just not the same. I think I'm going to start watching without being spoiled again. it's so much better. Natalie deserves all the recognition for her acting in this episode. I mean she is was brilliant when John died but this performance was even more heartbreaking if that is possible. Adam was also brilliant, they all were. I wasn't really a big fan of Holly's tbh but to see her family and friends in the aftermath of her death was heartbreaking.
Quite frankly this was some of the most realistic & fundamentally heart moving acting & script writing I've watched performed in years. The actress who plays Moira not only deserves a soap award, she deserves a BAFTA for this!⭐️ Jeff Hordley was also utterly breathtakingly good in this as Cain.⭐️ Emmerdale, it's cast & crew, should be incredibly proud of themselves for such a powerfully moving & successful piece of drama.👍 Kudos to them for finally changing the perception of having to ruin & spoil deaths months in advance..... see how much more effective this was with no pre warning?!👍
Sad thing I just started using smack as she died in this soap and it was the worse 3 years off my life & my families too😢 now lucky to have my life and steady of a program
Louise MacAllister no one did which is a great thing (not that she died obviously!) but if storylines aren’t leaked to the press or they give details beforehand then a storyline like this hitting the viewers out of the blue has more of an impact because they aren’t waiting for it to happen because they’ve heard or read it somewhere!?? And I think because they did this and it surprised and shocked the viewers especially with her seeming to have her life back on track with Jai and her new job and she looked the happiest she’d been in a long time, had a massive impact and there was a high spike in people asking for help afterwards.
Me and my husband really did not see it coming, now that Holly has died, which was a total shock OMG. I strongly think that Jai was totally responsible for causing Holly's death and also for leaving the window open. RIP Holly
Emmerdale has been fantastic at managing to pull off surprises, recently Ross's resurrection and now Holly's final tragedy. Personally I do like spoilers though only sometimes but I have to say the storylines you're not prepared for are the ones you find yourself going back to years later.
+ReadySalted80 there were no spoilers for this or at least I didn't see any. When I saw this I was so confused when I discovered what was going on I cried 😭 Poor Holly. But how did this happen I thought she was off the drugs, I swear there's more to this than we think.
Aidan Cameron OY! be more considerate u heartless cow he lost his brother and this would be a major throwback for him. I’m sorry for your loss and my he be healed in the arms of god x
Its sad bc she tried to get clean but it just took her soul like it does to most people Heroin is a dark dark world from what i have heard and i advise anybody to never go anywhere near it bc ive been around people who were on it and from what i have heard its near impossible to stop it makes stopping smoking and alcohol look easy
this has been one very sad big episode I was crushed the show is so good but like I said before quit losing the actors that make Emmerdale this is starting to get on my nerves I love these people I don't want to see them go.
