Cain is actually very controlled and reasonable, he still has that menacing quality, but he's not just looking for an excuse to hurt someone just for the sake of it like he might have done before, he's genuinely baffled who this person is and just wants to know what's going on
John Nathan I didn't like it because if the character before had shown signs all along of being unhappy like wearing boy's clothing, having short hair etc it would've made sense. No this is a retcon where the latest producer is insulting our intelligence with the PC thing. EastEnders did this better but their Kyle actor left. His was more believable.
it's not always like that. i grew up wearing dresses until i was like 6(?) and being called my (now) deadname happily. Now i go by Zach and identify 100% as male. it's all a matter of how he figured out his own identity. tbh i commend emmerdale for this storyline-- The spotlight is always on Trans women. It's time people like me got a chance to be seen and heard
Hannah wore dresses until she was like 18. Big difference there. Hannah had sex and had A boyfriend. She showed no signs of being trans. This is a total retcon.
I don't why he didn't say I'm Matty Barton, but when we met I was called Hannah like anyone would if you were being threatened by your farther in law who clearly didn't recognise you and thought you were an Intruder.
I didn't get this storyline because "Hannah" was so girly and not so boyish it's like the latest producer has just decided to make Hannah Matty to PC the role
Collette Post Maybe she was scared that her family and friends wouldn't accept her so she started to act girly and tried to forget how she really felt?
Honestly, what self respecting adult calls themselves “Matty”?? Every time I hear it it puts my teeth on edge! Hannah was a shit character, they really didn’t need to bring her back masquerading as a PC character. The “Matty” character a cringey and sooooo creepy. Hope they disappear soon enough never to be seen again👋🏼
