🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 My headteacher/mistress for Years 10 and 11 between 2014 and 2016 was a bit like her too. She was old fashioned, very strict and spoke with a posh accent. She seemed like the sort of headmistress that my grandparents would've had when they were in school. I remember on my last day of Year 9, the whole school went to church when she was still the acting head at the time or something like that. Her and one of the deputy head teachers were standing right outside the church to make sure that people weren't wearing jewellery or had their sleeves rolled up and stuff like that. I was wearing school shoes with straps on them and they told me off because they thought I was wearing trainers just because they had straps rather than laces, so that pissed me off a bit. You can get trainers with laces on them aswell so they were definitely talking a load of ballshit.
There’s definitely going to be a storyline with Nicky, not going to be nice and charming as he’s making out to be. I reckon him and Gabby will get together too
There's something off about Nicky. He Looks like a classic abuser/pedophile in the making. He presented himself as this clean-cut person with a tragic childhood that he painted about his background sending alarm bells ringing.
Urgh, that first Nanny is like a lot of codgers - clueless. They say that "mental health" didn't exist in their day but it did - it just wasn't recognised and so, they inflicted their trauma on their kids and bulldozed them through life, causing further trauma. Luckily, we recognise it now and can break the pattern and consider how we approach children, to help them become happy and healthier adults. Also, discipline isn't what's necessary for learning. Reward for learning and being able to reproduce what you've learned is how it works. If they get something wrong, just let them know. As for punishment, enforce timeouts. Kids seek attention and fun the most - if they act out, remove both and then, get them to tell you what they've done, so they recognise it.
Yes it did. Just like divorce existed but people were scared to do it. People want things to stay the same by saying things were better but it wasn't better. It was hidden. The second nanny is a fraud. She doesn't care about money. Sure. With rent and bills high. You'd choose not to earn less. Sure 🙄
