Emmylou Harris and Jackie Christian - Buck Dancing 

My respect for the talent of Emmylou has just doubled, if that is even possible. Fantastic!

As if I weren’t already impressed with Emmylou’s talent… who knew she could dance like that?

I'm from the mountains in NC and I haven't done that in so long used to go to town on Saturday listen to the music and dance like our granny taught us all how to buck dance

I was on Jacky Christians dance team called ‘Country Kicks’ Loved traveling with Ms. Jacky and the team!! Lots of great and entertaining memories.

I’ve loved Emmylou since she first became public. What a Wonderful ,Talented Woman. I don’t think she ever got the credit she deserved !! I’ve never seen her dance before , she was classy doing that too.

I took Jackie Christian's buck dance class in Nashville at Centenniel Park (I think) spring 1982.

Jackie Christian maybe? I don't think I ever met her, so don't know what she looks like, but she is/was a big proponent of buck dance and lived in Nashville in the 80s and 90s. She choreographed a buck dance routine for the Berea College Country Dancers that we performed for a little over a decade. Emmylou's pretty impressive being that smooth in those heels.
