The band, the show, Emmylou were overwhelming for those who knew her latest albums. The cowboys were disappointed. I've never seen a guitar player like Buddy Miller!
What a killer band. Tony even has a Moog Taurus bass pedal system. I have only seen Chris Squire (Yes) use one before. Emmylou is singular in her voice which is a thing of beauty and power. She got it right when she said got have more guitar...and chose Buddy Miller for that important part. Blade on drums/percussion is so perfectly spot-on too I'm kind of gobsmacked they can make such a glorious noise without additional musicians. Love Hurts may be the best version I've heard her do of this classic. Just amazing and probably my favorite Emmylou ever.

Fell in love with Emmy Lou when you tube suggested Wrecking Ball album. I still remember when I heard the first notes of the song "Where will I be" That whole album was so therapeutic for me, as I had stuffed my emotions so deep inside. I am so grateful.....
one of the best line up i've seen with emilou soo far. It changes for sure, since musicians, bass and drums are more funky in the mix (way more highlighted than other live i saw) it adds some groove. Emmy is more discrete, but that changes and gives something different from other lives. Guitar player is amazing tho
This comment may go against the grain here, but Spyboy is my least favorite of Emmylou's bands. The drums and bass are too loud and drown out Emmylou's voice, in my opinion.
