How lucky you all are to live in such a beautiful place! I just love it when you show your beautiful property. Good luck to you and I'll see you in the next video.
That chicken high tailed it out of the pasture as soon as you told Cora no and she let it go…it’s good that they obey you like that Kevin….you did it perfectly with your tone of voice and she obeyed …you must have been very concerned wen you Cldnt find the dogs thank heavens they wer just in the shade…
Your a great person Kevin i wish the world has more like you. And you did right with kora . It wouldn't take much more training and she could be around birds. Cause she didn't want to kill it.
I think you did just fine with Cora. It’s good that you didn’t us praise. You’re right that if you had praised her, I think it would have confused her. I think you did fine with the tone of voice & just calling her name. Good job Kevin! Rachel, you ARE a ROCKSTAR for finding your dogs!!
What kinda dogs are they . They are absolutely gorgeous. Y'all have some beautiful animals . My daughter is special needs and loves watching y'all with the animals . I love mojo . He is gorgeous baby .
Don't blame you for getting rid of the mean duck. No reason to keep any bullies on the farm. Also happy the dogs weren't missing! They were so comfortable laying in the shade they weren't going to move. Leesky sure has a mouthful of beautiful white teeth! Bet they could do some damage on a predator? I noticed on the News how hot it is in Oklahoma. It's brutal hot.
I was watching an IG video where all the chickens were following the lady because she is the who feeds them. I thought of how the chickens follow Kevin around. Kora’s body language showed she knew Kevin meant business.
Kora did right by when you told her no. And your right by not telling her she's a good girl when releasing the chicken. She knew that she was wrong. Glad the dogs weren't lost.
You did great. You never want to overdo it because some dogs will just think that they should've killed it instead of letting it go. She didn't know if it was a threat or friend. She did great. Kora and Luski are some of the best dogs livestock guardian dogs that I've seen on all of the homesteading channels that I watch. I love Rachel, and you alot, your more like one of my friends than anyone else on RU-vid.
You handle the situation perfectly!! When it comes to discipline, it's always situational an you should never escalate more than the situation calls for!! She responded an that is what is important!
I think your voice tone was just right Cora let go of the chicken she knew you were not pleased with her. All the dogs stopped what there were doing when you said NO, Good job Kevin hope you find the other little duck 😄
You been it long enough to know, a farm and animals is a learning process. Glad Cora let the little chicken go. Kevin y'all are great parents and y'all love the animals as well. Love y'all.
Good dog miss Cora, at least she let it go when you shouted her, love your videos love all your animals especially the dogs, but love Big Mo that bit more.❤
U handled it correctly with Kora. So glad those two were ok, sure that u and Rachael's hearts bottomed out. God bless stay safe until the next video 💓 😍
Kevin you did the right thing with your dog over the chicken you and Rachel are truly good home steaders who not only all your animals but show the real farm life no it's not always good but farm life is what it is you have to deal with the good bad and ugly as my Grandmother always said God Bless you and your wonderful family and animals your doing a great job keep it up
I’m so glad you found them ,they found some place cool. Kora will learn by how you handled it. She knew she messed up cause she let it go, Leeski could tell in your voice. Maybe they will learn to leave the birds alone. The farm looks great take care, try to get through the heat ❤️🙏😊✨👍🥶
One year during a massive heat wave that hit my state, my dog went missing. We didn't have a fence, he was tied up. Somehow he got loose and we finally found him. He was under our bushes on the side of our house. He had dug a hole and was laying in the cool dirt. He was just very hot and he just made himself at home under the bushes. So we moved the dog house, and put it near the bushes. He was happy and barking away! Food and lots of water which we changed for him throughout the day, cause water gets slimy in the water pan and hot (even in the shade). Your dogs are hot and it's going to be over 100 degrees. Of course they will look for a spot with SHADE and dig into the ground because the dirt is cool! That's where the worms are, deep into the ground cause if they come up, they'll roast! You and the Mrs. be careful out there doing your chores! Don't worry about the doggies, they know where to find shade. Just make sure they have clean water! Great job!!!!
We appreciate your honesty very much and show real life stuff that happens. Even if it's sad. Your right, things happen on the farm. Thanks for sharing your life and farm. Stay cool!
You did absolutely fine with correcting Cora the last thing you want is for her to see your chicken or ducks as a exciting new toy to be played with or chewed on .
That's a scary feeling when you can't find your dogs. Glad they were just chillin. Trust your instincts Kevin you handled that like a professional trainer.
Hi everybody! Have you thought about putting some kind of trackers on some of your pups? That way you can check on them when ever you want in your phone or computer. Just a thought You all stay safe and strong Nothing but the best to you and yours
So glad Rachel found the dogs! I know how you feel, I thought I lost my dog but I'd actually locked him out of the house. He waited on the porch for me 😅
I think you did right with Cora, Kevin. Cora did what you told her to do, so she is learning. If she had wanted to kill that chicken, she would’ve done it right away. Glad they weren’t missing though. Your pond looks beautiful with the weed and lily pads. I was looking for the frogs. 😂
