The daughter has an incredible voice there is no doubt about that. However, it's the father's ability to adjust his voice each song to match hers that makes this duo so authentic.
I wish I had a Dad who loved me like this man loves his daughter. Every little girl deserves a father who loves her and supports her and just wants the very best for her. That photo of him holding her as a newborn broke me. They are both fantastic singers as well, humble and generous.
Caitlin and Tim were truly incredible. There is something very special about Rita that makes contestants want her to be their coach. IMO it's her personality and her ability to pick the right songs for the contestants that showcases their voices.

There was honestly no competition, it was obvious that Caitlin and Tim were going to win, just from their blind auditions! Best duo ever on The Voice history, in my opinion!

I love that her dad is an amazing artist but he was totally there to push her. He was okay with stepping back and letting her shine. Wow. This is a reflection of what every father should be
Tim, your daughter is phenomenal BUT YOU EXCEED even that. Every time you sing I get goosebumps!!! Every time y’all harmonize I get goose bumps! I think singing with your daughter is when your heart burst with love & it absolutely shows in your voice & performance

Tim has a wonderful voice by himself….as has his daughter…..that last song must have been very raw for him as he obviously still hurts from his marriage break up. My problem is I'm female with a narcissistic, misogynist sperm donor...with no abilities or desire to recognize any meaningful attributes in my sister or I. (My brother is my father's heart and mind) growing up with such blatent favoritism has got to have affected ny sis and I. Mom passed 10 yrs ago....now dad has changed the will...can you guess? Brother gets all. HaHaaaaaa, no joke!/

I lost by my daddy was back on 12/15/95, and i will miss him forever, he was my bestest friend and protector, he did everything for me, and even though i have a fiancee that adores me, i still cry for my daddy. God bless you for the love that you feel, its a hard journey to proceed without daddies, i miss mind also, your also in my prayers
Congratulations, there is nothing like father and daughter bond. Caitlin you can succeed in any thing with your dad's love. You won your own Olympic gold medal. Both housing beautifully. Never bored to see this couple dad and daughter singing. Any song they sang they're able to nail it. Their voice is so unified beautifully. Everytime I see the video over and over again, I got tears in my eyes. The emotional bond between father and daughter can be seen in every song lyrics they sang. It can be seen that every time Tim sings he sheds tears. Trully amazing! Couldn't wait for their album. They're so iconic dad and daughter.
I honestly think either of them can win the voice alone. Tim's voice is something magical and caitlin can nail literally every song every high note. I need a version of them singing shallow and alive.
At the first notes I was emotionally overwhelmed, what a connection the father made, beautiful! And then his daughter took over, my goodness. So glad to see this.
