This is absolutely true. I was once very near to Allah but due to tests in life I became lost and at my furthest point away from Allah I remember laying in bed about to go to sleep and due to a mere ember in my heart I made a simple request to Allah "do not let go of my rope to you for I have not let go". Since that singularity he has rushed to me with increasing speed and I've only progressively come closer and closer to him and further away from sin incrementally.

I am suprised I shed some tears and made dua after the video. The thing is I used to be in your state where when I see something heart stoping I couldn’t even shed a drop of tears . The way to do so is by doing a lot of good deeds and staying from bad deeds . A heart which is a rock which sins a lot can’t feel eman sometimes but a heart which does a lot of good things and stays from bad sins then eventually it will . May Allah make it easy for us. I want to be in a state in which when ever I see worthy of dropping tears I want to . Inshallah brother just do more food deeds and watch a lot of Islamic videos

Asalam alaykum warakhmatulahi wa barakatuhu. I want you to know that a lot of Muslims feel this way. What I do to ease the feeling is I always end my day with “Alhamdullilah”. I try to find good things to say about the day. Overall, I just try to be thankful that I get to see the end of another day.
