Sunsets always remind me of God's grace and promise of Heaven. At the end of a hectic day I thank God for getting me through it, but how often do we (I) forget to thank God for the good days too! A few weeks ago my pastor quoted Randy Alcorn "this world is the closest thing to heaven unbelievers will ever experience, yet for the believer this world is the closest thing to hell we will ever know". This quote has really been sitting on my heart the last few weeks and reminds me that the best is yet to come. Mary, thanks for your contagious Joy and the reminder to give thanks for the good days and keep pushing through the not so good days. Keep smiling and have a great night. Revelation 21:4.

Frey Family, thank you so much for sharing your boat day and the gorgeous sunset with us. I wasn't able to go on a family beach trip this past weekend because of not feeling well and this kind of helped make up for it. :-) Mary, you are so incredibly kindhearted. Ollie looks so happy taking a boat ride. Thank you for sharing your beautiful day. It made me recall my childhood spent on the lake, taking boat rides and skiing and inner tubing, My favorite part of our summer camping was getting up early and going out on the lake to watch the sunrise. The lake would be so still and look like a sheet of glass. It was a special treat that my daddy did only with me (I'm the youngest of 5 kids).and I have such fond memories.

I thought I was the only one who got teary and felt like you were talking to me. Then I read all the comments and my eyes were opened to all the people that y'all help! Yes, today was painful, but I did all the things I wanted and thanked God for another day. You both are amazing young people and I can't wait to listen to Peter's sermons. This video couldn't have possibly come at a BETTER time Mary. I was diagnosed with Lyme Disease yesterday and I have to be on antibiotics for 21 days. The effects have made me sick over the past 2 months. I'm hoping and praying that I'll get through and rise to the top of this all. But this video is •EVERYTHING•. Loved your peaceful moment. I had a crazy stressful day yesterday and about 7:30 pm I decided I needed a happy moment for the day so I packed a small picnic for my husband and I and we went up to a big hill over sf and watched the sunset on one side and the moon rise on the other side. It was amazing and my whole outlook changed!!!! I love that you take the time to see the peaceful moments in the sunset too.

What a glorious sunset, and a beautiful boat ride! It looked like such a peaceful time to give thanks & praise to the Lord! I would get emotional too if I was there! Continued prayers that the bleeding will end so you can get back to your daily therapies! I also pray that you will feel well enough to fully enjoy the little vacation you are having.
