My dad died when I was in the 5th grade before school my mom told me he was still asleep but I was in his bedroom to give him a bye hug before I left for school and he was cold…I just went to school for some reason until my mom found him and came and got me out of class… Later on life this song helped me break through all the memories for that day

Chills and emotional, that was incredible right Rory? Now, Betterman 2010 Madison Square Gardens where the audience sings the whole first verse back to Eddie. Eddie wrote Betterman in highschool its a song written for his mom. Other countries love Pearl Jam also, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Italy love watching those concerts the fans are incredible!! Very emotional for me haven’t seen my dad in 40 years. Wish I could talk to him or just get a hug from him. This song gets me everytime.
