The Committee is hosting former federal appellate Judge Mike Luttig to discuss the January 6th attack on the Capitol and its legal ramifications for former President Donald Trump. Judge Luttig, like fabled predecessor on the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit Learned Hand, would have ascended to the United States Supreme Court if electoral politics had not intervened. The Supreme Court is poorer because of Judge Luttig’s absence. His credentials as a Republican cannot be disputed.
