I just got him about 15 min.s ago and I agree he is a beast, I faced him in some raids and if I didn't take him out with my Deadboot & Goretooth combo, he wrecked me.
This is a great tank, big time.If he hits for like 700 damage each enemy, this will be 5 x 700=3500 damage, 20% of this is 700 - so he will heal each ally for 700 hp.Then the healing core is just awesome and very overlooked - 25% boosted heal is massive - lets say a hero has 2200 hp - 25% out of it will be 550 boosted heal - custome Ariel boosts 520, while Vivica at slow speed boosts 670.And this guy has this boost as passive! It is interesting how the mechanics works and which would trigger first - the20% heal from the hit or the boosted health, obviously u wanna get the regular heal first, so then the boosted heal could increase your maximal hp. Now about the strong damsge taken as normal - imo this means that all holly heroes will take the damage taken by purple tiles/heroes as normal damage, not as strong.So it will be like they r hit by red, blue or green tiles, but not like purple.This is also great for tanking, means that if u havent got this guy down before he casts his special, after this will be even harder, cause now purple tiles wont do strong damage.
Yep I'd say he wants to be a tank all day long. Counterattack is pretty much it for him as far as good counter heroes just cause everything happens at once. I think I might just rather face him than Ukonnen or Aramis.... but only just 😅 thanks for the comments DP love ur insights 👍👍👍💪🥂🍻
So, I do think he is a great character but you won't see him as much as we think. 300%+ damage is nothing to sneeze at but nowadays I don't believe it's as good as it used to be. He is probably the best arounder but falls short on the healing aspect. Kind of a jumped up Wolfgang from knights with dealing damage and a slight heal on the side. Goretooth is an AMAZING damage dealer. Not stocky enough for tank but if he gets any kind if mana generation buff he's like a mikki on steroids. Hits fairly hard, stops from using/gaining mana, rinse and repeat. So I don't think I will be ding any pulls for Shaal simply because his supporting cast I have, in some cases multiple. I run two accounts and I try to run different hereos on the accounts for different style game play. I am a whale with Kraken tendencies and after my attempts in WotK portal to get Sha Wujing (fail) and Chang'e (successfully after 360 pulls) and the holidays, I'm tapped out. Truer words were never spoken re that horrible Wo3K portal. Was unusual for me but laid down about 40 pulls in the end (a lot 4 me) with nothing to show for it blergh' I hate when the game makes u feel dirty like that 😅 huge Congrats on chang'e though. She's my new most wanted just soooooo dope 💪have a lovely Christmas. That family time is worth more that 10000000 pulls 🥰
