His attack and defense up is critical for my odile wings. Haven’t solved garten and prince sigi, yet but pulled ray last tower and he will be my very fast debuffer which should take care of garten
Goldie is the best goblin. Easy to pull, maxed out and with legendary troop health tops out around 2300 and defense over 1100, the redirect of status ailments for all allies, damage 50% of the time with special, boosted health decrease at 50%, and growth effect…are impassable. She’s the cheapest choice and hangs in on the top teams. Awesome video again Brother

@@Juju2012ZA affordability, availability, and affectability would be The three words on Goldie’s Tombstone many many years from now (hopefully lol). Meaning she’s a total team enhancement support staff superstar at the price to max her out. I’m with the Naultinator I’m intrigued to see another 4* goblin rolled out. I do also like the 4* new astral elf but nowhere near the impact as Goldie imo. Sending good luck and positive vibes your way!

don't agree with the tier list Acid fire is good but shouldn't be S tier but A tier should be swapped with Dark Feather , Dark Feather you find on more good defenses than Acidfire why because Dark feather is more versatile.
Cheers Leon as long as that's ur only gripe I can live with it 😀 I have always found DF to be less troublesome than acidfire on defence but that could be down to roster too and what available counters u have I like to use mana cutters against him if I see him at tank I let him fire once and then get controll cause hes average speed thats not to difficult but with acid fire that's not an option her speed, the massive hit and def and attack Reduction plus the buff reflect make her IMHO a far more difficult hero to face.
Hey McNaulty. Another good one. I agree with your list except that I'd make Smarttongue S tier. I've come across pretty much all of these goblins in opposition teams and while I don't always win, she's the only one that makes me shake in my boots. If I don't take her out first she kills my teams every time.

Great video! I only have Goldie and been leveling her but haven’t gotten a chance to use her yet as she’s still weak. Would love an Owl family tier list. I got Luna and she’s so awesome!

Great video. Thanks. I'm kinda surprised about the c-grades. The only two I don't have but want. Makes sense with the heal & dispel taking out the fiend and dot damage.

Interesting video. I don't particularly like tier lists because they oversimplify a complex topic, but talking about heroes is still useful. My thoughts are as follows: On the Wither vs Growth thing: Wither is more powerful than Growth from my experience and understanding of the damage calculation, but it comes at the cost of not always working: Taunt, Blind etc can stop you from applying Wither, but the only way to stop Growth is Greed (or preventing the special altogether, but that works on every special). Smarttongue (no clue if it's "he" or "she", so I'll use "they"): They're currently one of the best green tanks in the game, maybe even the best depending on the rest of the team. For offense, they can be used either to wear down the enemy team or with a strong follow-up hitter (or a combination of these). I agree with putting them in the A tier. Rocket: Well, he's not very good on defense because of what you mentioned. But I don't think he was meant for defense. If you look at it from an offense standpoint, you can just solve the whole problem by not bringing him against cleansers or ailment blockers. In that case, the fiends are going to deal a lot of damage and the burn damage is even higher. A hero without a 5* troop is unlikely to survive more than 5 turns after getting hit by him. B tier. Acidfire: Great hero. S tier. Grimsteel: He's a great hero for titans and Rush, but that huge Growth even makes him useful in non-Rush wars. Therefore, I'd put him in the A tier. Kettle: If you LB2 him, he's just about powerful enough to justify the slow speed, but not the randomness. D tier. Boom&Fang: They just don't do enough. D tier. Darkfeather: She's a good tank and flank on defense, really good on offense, part of a lot of the best tower teams and the best Mythic Titan hero in the game. S tier and one of the most universally desirable heroes in the game. Fizzcoil: Really good on defense, especially in Equalizer. On offense, he's impactful, but 5* troops make it hard for hit-alls. Still A tier though. Leafwhisk: He significantly decreases the damage you take, similarly to Smarttongue, but the mega minion is considerably weaker than what Smarttongue does, so I'll have to put him in C tier even though I really like him. Pepperflame: I can't see any area of the game where she's not an absolute monster. S tier, probably the most universally desirable hero in the game. Deadboot: Solid defense hero, really good on offense as well and really good on titans. High B tier. Madhammer: Not a bad taunt killer, but Gestalt, Tweedles, Jana, Congalach, Guardian Elephant, Nine-Headed Beast etc. do that more consistently. She's not a bad hero, but compared to the other Goblins, she's a C tier. So my tier list is (ordered from best to worst within the tiers): S: Pepperflame, Darkfeather, Acidfire A: Grimsteel, Smarttongue, Fizzcoil B: Deadboot, Rocket C: Leafwhisk, Madhammer D: Boom&Fang, Kettle Looking at the whole game: S: Pepperflame, Darkfeather, Acidfire, Grimsteel, Smarttongue A: Fizzcoil, Deadboot, Rocket B: Leafwhisk, Madhammer C: Boom&Fang D: Kettle Both Goldie and Boots are S tier btw.

Very insightful and also pretty darn close to my own opinions 👍 As far as tier lists I get where ur coming from but i feel ghat they can also be very helpful for newer and midgame players as a tool to help them not waste mats and also something that has been sorely and surprisingly lacking from Empires and Puzzles to date nt sure if its out of content creators fear of making mistakes or what it was in the past but I am all for making a few mistakes in the name of progress 😅 that said I was a bit harsh on Grimsteel and will probably amend his grade when I get the online lists live and also re DF I don't have him so my experience is based on his defensive capabilities but I have had quite a few comments about him stating that what he lacks on defence he more than makes up for on attack teams. Smartounge is def a chick, but anyway, I digress. I agree with you on your rankings. I have Smartounge, Darkfeather x2, Acidfire and Goldie. I love them all but my fav is Darkfeather. He’s an absolute beast. I have him as my tank and I eat flags (in wars) for breakfast! Also on attack, if darkfeather goes almost a sure win for me.
YOOOOOOO....Always a great day when i get a Mcnaulty Video i want expecting one. Thought i had missed a new summon, lol. Rocket was the newest released. I have fought many of these goblins. I have most of these goblins. Kettle and Boom&Fang-Spot on, rocket and Grimsteel i can see, Deadboot and Madhammer as B's? Kinda Harsh but understandable. Smarttongue is more a B for me and you rated Fizzcoil as one of your top blue hereos so I think A might be a little low. The lightning you don't like in the picture i think is a depiction of "harsh sound" like a screech or nails on a chalk board. Acid Fire and Pepperflame are awesome. Still working on building Acidfire but Pepper is single limit broken for now. Need mats for full emblems and double. Thanks for the vid bud and good luck in your attacks in WoTK's.

The best goblin is smarttongue IMO, or whatever its called. Reducing max health AND making it so you lose boosted health is a nasty combo when paired with other goblins.
True it is easy to come a cropper against Smarttongue sneakiest bit iz that whilst she's dropping all that HP she's also giving the special skill dmg increase so before u know it ur dead dead ur dead dead ....
I'm not certain that Grimsteel deserves that C-rating, considering the gap of what he does compared to Rocket. Kinda feels like you're underselling him. I'd say a B- would be more accurate, even if it doesn't fit on your graph. Not as good as the solid B-rankers, but definitely doing more than Rocket is. Side note, no Horus costume review? Or too bleh to bother with?

I'm using an online tiermaker so eventually I can update and share the url so I mat change that on there when I get the time and when the new Goblin comes out. As for Horus Costume - I was just too busy with this and IRL tbh just didnt have time 😅.

i'd put DF on S. he's just too good and a must have compared to the other 2. other new heroes do as much damage as those 2 but nobody is doing anyting close to what DF does. I got 2x DF, pepperflame, deathboot and grimsteel (from covenant last week). i love pepperflame but DF is on my every team
Cheers for the comment 👍👍👍 I may have to reconsider DF as I haven't got him to use on my own Attack teams, on defense though I feel there are quite a few better options and he can be quite easily countered so mainly basing this off of my experience of facing all of these heroes on defense but I will be adding to these tier list as I get the website sorted so thank you again and I will take it from you that he is excellent or 'S' tier on attack cause I can't test him there myself.
Actually I am with u there I do think that they need to do something about the drop rates. Even though it's a 2x event it's just an excuse to drop the rates...doesn't really add up. Thanks Apex 👍
