I don't know how often you get comments like this, but I think you'd be an excellent chemistry/science professor if you aren't already one. You make all of this seem so simple, whereas I find myself confused in class when my professor teaches the exact same subjects. You rock, dude! Keep up the great work!
This guy is helping me so much… I missed a week of chem lectures due to the flu and I was panicking because I’m so behind. But after watching several of his videos I got caught up so quick. He is heaven sent
You have a gift that few professors have! never stop teaching....I am only understanding the content of my class because of you. I love your videos! I have told all of my classmates about your channel. Thank you so much.
I love how you made an effort to prepare every piece of paper you will discuss on each step, I just realized that I get distracted easily when teachers write for so long before they discuss the next step. Thank you!!
Thank you so much Tyler DeWitt. I wish there were more teachers like you who are so kind, compassionate and talented. You are saving a lot of students lives. I am so grateful in even knowing you.
I wish I had found these videos BEFORE today, my test is in half an hour and you've managed to explain this concept better in ten minutes than my professor has in over two hours.
Tyler, if it wasn't for your videos, i would be drowning and probably failing my chemistry class and i'm no idiot. THANK YOU for making it so simple to understand. You truly have a gift!
I'm a geology student at CU Boulder and your videos helped me a lot in chem 1. I'm starting chem 2 now and am watching your videos as a refresher. thanks!
Hi Tyler, even though it doesn't discredit the educational merit of this video, I need to point out that the first analyzed compound is not ethene, but butene - more specifically (E)-but-2-ene. I suggest inserting a correction box in the video.
Beautyella Carol Mkuma I appreciate it so much! If you go to my channel page (ru-vid.com), there's a blue "Support" button on the right-hand side that allows you make donations. Thank you so, so much!
I'm just so glad that my chem teacher's just as good as you are. I watch your videos for reviewing and i get your lessons just as how I get my teacher's lessons.
you are the best like I seat on the chair for 6 periods of time and don't understand any and you give the info faster and clearly in 10 min appreciate it man my boy
You are the best! But isn't ethene C2H4 (-ane single bond, -ene double bond, -yne triple bond), hence ethene would have double bond between the Cs? I love watching your vids. I have had all these classes for premed (and miss chemistry so much I have a tiny lab in my house and do distillation procedures for my own pure plant essential oils🌷🌱🌹🍋🌻). Thank you ❤!
I saw this lesson, like this looks very hard my teacher told me how to do it, and I understood it. You helped me even further. Thanks, Tyler for the help
Tyler, could you please make a video on how to balance out equations, easy and hard? Right now, I'm kind of frustrated with my HW and it would really help if you explained it, because you're so good at explaining chemistry-related things. Thank you so much!
I'm a recent subscriber trying to learn chemistry before I see it for the first time in College. You sir are a great teacher. I watch your videos then read a chapter out of my chemistry book I got from amazon. I gotta say you deserve every "view" you get.
YOU DONT KNOW HOW MUCH THIS HELPED ME. I learned more watching this video than maybe 3 days in chemistry class in high school! _ PS: thanks for the really good notes!
These videos have never been more important then during COVID . Literally have a teacher who doesn’t teach my class is completely asynchronous with only powerpoint slides given.
You are amazing! Thank you so much. I read the textbook chapter about Empirical formulas 4 times and could not understand it. I watched 4 minutes of your video and it clicked! You are truly a gift!
seriously, your videos are great. every time i don’t understand things in physics and chem, you are the first person i turn to on youtube to help me understand, and i always leave knowing exactly what to do. bless 😭
This guy basically helped me in chem I read the chapter review teachers notes my notes go to you tube get his notes put all 3 of our notes together and man its the best review if anyone is struggling try this technique ... But also tyler he is excellent
Only you can make me easily understand every concept in chemistry. I watched your videos last year when I was in high school and now that I'm in varsity that won't stop me... you're the best teacher ever . Thank God for you🙏
Tyler DeWitt Hey Tyler, could you make a video exclusively on The Periodic Table? Explaining a bit of history, and different components of the table, and how to use them?
I was absent 2/3 days that we learned this in class. we had a test over it today, and last night at 1am I was FREAKING OUT over this because I didn’t understand it, so I decided to look up a video. YOU ARE SUCH A GOOD TEACHER. THANK YOU SO MUCH. I got a 105 on my test solely because of this. thank you so so much.
WOW! thank you!!!!!!!!! My teacher took forever to teach moles and the formulas and i left with nothing but being more confused but in just 30 min I understand this better then half my class.
i have a test tomorrow on moles in general and i regret the day that i procrastinated everything till the day before but thank god for Tyler Dewitt for making life so much easier for me
Tyler, your videos are saving my behind in my chem course. I'm a disabled vet with cognitive recall disorder due to IED blasts while I was in the service. These vids help me so much. you're awesome man, keep it up!
Every quarter I find someone on youtube that can teach me better than my professor, for this quarter he is my guy. Bless these videos that made chem understandable!!!!!
For videos that you already understand but you want to recap speeding it up is great. Also if they are just a slow talker but you need to learn it 1.25 can be great.
you are a GIFT from the GODS, thank you!!!! i was worried i'd be too dumb to understand this video but passed the homework practice with flying colors... :)
I'd like to thank you for sharing your knowledge to the public, you are brilliant at explaining difficult concepts in chemistry and have assisted many of us in this subject. We appreciate your efforts to make this subject make sense... thank you thank you thank you!!!!
I realize you probably won't read this given that you haven't uploaded a video in a while, but I just wanted to say thank you for these videos. Last year I took Biology and completely loved it but Chemistry this year has been really hard because it simply hasn't been as interesting to me but these videos have made it much easier to understand and a lot less stressful. I have a Chem midterm on Monday and if I get a good grade, it'll be because of these videos.
I’m an iraqi kid and the education system is hard, while the teaching system is flaud. So I figured if I don’t understand on arabic iraqi teachers on RU-vid, I should understand stuff from english professors. Because I can understand English. And I am glad I did this decision.
You made easy chemistry for me my paper of chemistry is about few days I was not able to understand empirical and molecular formula but you made it easy. Thank you so much love from Pakistan
