Employer Nomination Scheme (subclass 186) visa lets skilled workers nominated by employers live and work in Australia permanently. The 186 visa is similar to Temporary Skill Shortage Visa (subclass 482) with TSS temporary. Subclass 186 is permanent, however.

Hi, I had a doubt with ACS Skill Assessment. Will they still reduce 2 years experience if I have a Australian Masters degree? I had 1.8 years of work experience as a Programmer Analyst before coming to Australia to do my Masters in IT. Currently working as a Frontend developer for 6 months now after graduating Masters and I'm trying for a 186 visa now.

Hi...I have completed my Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery two weeks ago in Gold Coast, i have also worked for 1 year as a Chef in Hotel in a casual role around 25-35 hrs/week in Australia . Now its been 2-3 months i am working as a full time chef in a new big hotel and they want to sponsor me. I have got 4-5 years of experience as a chef in my home country. So, is it possible for me to go for 186 visa???

187 employer nomination approved in 2019, after 3 year now immigration open my visa application . Immigration asking me to get a letter from employer as position still available . My employers are not happy to give this letter what can i do.

mam, your explanation is so sweet, I want to know that why we should apply for 186 as per comparison with 190 as well 491, which visa is good for a trade person, I know about 190 or 491 however, I saw your video now of 186.

Would you still need a genuine position letter and evidence of labour market testing if the employee has been working for the same company last three years on full-time basis and have his skill assessment done for the same?
