Really liked this one, but I like all that I have heard. Now, what I really want to say is how amazed I am that you are able to write and then record a story every week! I can often barely write a story a month, and sometimes even less. It might take me a week to write a 5 or 6 page story, and then review it, add to it, since I'm terrible about descriptions. You, Sir, amaze me.
Thanks, Leah! I wish I could say it was easy, but it's not. That doesn't mean I don't enjoy every minute of it, though! My cheat code is Mechanics (my other channel). Understanding story structure gives me a clear roadmap before I start the writing part of the writing process. I also am thinking two to three weeks in advance based on the topics, so I have a very clear vision when I start. I often feel more like a reporter than a fiction writer. I had to listen to this one twice to really appreciate it. You amaze me everyday. You need a Marketing person to promote your talent. Writing should be your full time job. And people are ripe & ready for ot. What passes for writing takent today is pathetic. You ate the real deal. You deserve to be known & to make a good living ad a writer. Dont know what is hikding you back, but just push through it and find a marketing person. ❤
Thanks, Joan Mary! I'm happy you're enjoying so many of my stories 😃 Part of why I am where I am is that I'm fairly new to publishing my work even though I've been writing for a long time. The long-term goal, of course, is to make a stable living as a writer, but I'm also not expecting that to happen without some struggles along the way. I have faith it'll come. In the context of the bombing of a Palistinian hospital, and the death of chidren, and the compliance of the leaders, maybe I dont have enough left over for anythinh beyond Sushi/Battle. Well written.

I stumbled on your writing through isaac arthur, but that is a limited sort of super nerd space, in my opinion. Don’t know if I can express myself enough (not native English speaker, probably already guessed it) but this story sounds like a combination of the Bible and the Epic of Gilgamesh. More of the latter.
The sad part of this story is that humanity is fucked either way: if they disobey the edict they get destroyed by the being from the 5th dimension, and if they obey, they get destroyed by another race that will expand and eventually overwhelm them. Luckly for them "thou shalt not take that which is not yours" is so vague and offers so many backdoors that I can see the 5th dimensional being appearing once again a thousand years later to give clarifications after humanity just kept expanding with different motivations like "of course I can build a dyson sphere around this star, its light already reaches the surface of my planet so I'm simply maximizing the output of something that I already have!". 🤣 Go humanity! Backdoors and quibbles are the way!
I am still not sure, 🎶💵, as it is still a deep metaphysical mystery. My best guess is a delicious chocolatey nougat 😄 The muse only tells me what I need to know!
