There is so much to love here! The parallels work so well here, especially because I think, for me at least, they got a little lost while I watched the show because I was so consumed with untangling the timelines. The “what do you want” thread and the different ways she answers it each time - although really they’re the same answer, just articulated differently at different times in her life - was one of my favorite parallels in here, as well the way you hit “empty crown” throughout. This really feels like the perfect song for her. How she kept reaching for her everything, and never gets it, and her life feels empty because none of it satisfies her. None of it fixes her misery and feelings of helplessness.

I keep coming back to this video. I can't get over it. I've had this song on my daily playlist since I watched this. I've watched so many Yennefer tributes and this is still the best by such a wide margin... God I love this video.
