Hello Everyone and welcome to my channel! In today’s video, which is actually my 1st RU-vid video (YAY me!), I’m going to give you a tour of our empty new house.
My husband and I started construction on our house in the summer of 2021 and we just closed in March 2022, so it’s been a long process.
This is a semi-custom, new construction house. Total square footage is approximately 3900, with an additional 3300 SF in the unfinished basement. The house sits on 1.25 acres. Also, we’re south of Atlanta, GA, and are considered to be in the Metro Atlanta area.

Beautiful! The hardest part of building is picking out just about everything. You nailed it all! The flooring… the wood floors, the tiles, your light fixtures, paint colors on walls, cabinets, trim…. Outstanding! Can you help me build my home 😂 Great job 👍👏

I love how you’re new construction home doesn’t look extremely cookie cutter. A lot of new construction looks the same even inside. Picking out everything would have stressed me out. So great you had a vision and could manifest it. Turned out great.

Thank you! My husband and I definitely didn't want the "norm" when it came to designing our house. So we were diligent about our selections, which was stressful at times because we had to pick out EVERYTHING! But it all worked out in the end and we love it. Thanks for watching.

Beautiful and awesome details. The house we are getting comes with GE cafe appliances and I would've never thought of getting white. Also I haven't many light wood bathroom cabinets but that is what I wanted so glad to see how you did it.

We went through a builder, but it was a very custom process. We brought our floor plan to the builder and selected ALL the finishes, even down to the door hinges. 🙂

That's great, Tasha! I say go for it! The color is Boothbay Gray by Benjamin Moore. It's a nice neutral, blue/gray color.
