Empty Saddles (1936) Buck Jones Louise Brooks Rare B&W B Western Movie (poor quality) 

I never pictured Louise Brooks being in a western. She made 3 pictures after this and retired in 1938. She died in 1985 at 78. One of my all time favorites. A real beauty.

Thank you for the film, Empty Saddles, with Buck Jones and the one I came to see, Louise Brooks. She looked wonderful (no page boy bob, but still lovely), and a lovely speaking voice. As I always say, what a shame she was mistreated by the Hollywood establishment. Otherwise, she would have done more films.

Boston media ran features this past November marking the 80th anniversary of the deadly Cocoanut Grove nightclub fire in which Buck Jones was fatally injured saving others.

For a movie 80+ years old, I'd say the quality isn't too bad... Thanks for posting this film... Where'd you find it?

They never made great use of Louise. Her whole career was based on a few great European movies and a heavy dose of what could have been.
